Alexis Lim raised to 80,000 and Seung Hyun Han three-bet to 180,000 in the cutoff for the initial raiser to call. Following the A♠4♠3♦ flop, Lim check-called for 125,000 and they checked the 8♥ turn. The 8♦ came on the river and Lim bet 275,000, Han folded with a lot of frustration and the K♦ was flipped over.
"Kings," he said in table chat and Ivan Dela Cruz was certain of that as well.
Patrick Clarke raised to 80,000 and was called by Gursimran Brar in the cutoff and Ronn Mesina in the big blind. They ended up checking down the entire board of Q♠10♠6♠3♥8♥ and Mesina won the pot with the K♥8♠.
"Ace king," Brar said and Clarke replied "same, ace king no spade".
While Brar was bemusing a missed chance to steal, he then flat-called a raise by Ivan Dela Cruz to 80,000 with the latter sitting under the gun. Dela Cruz bet the A♠10♥6♣ flop for 50,000 and Brar called. They checked the 8♦ tuun and 5♣ river, Dela Cruz showed the J♥J♠ but was beaten by A♥7♥.
Dela Cruz defended the big blind against Brar next and led the Q♦10♠9♥5♥K♠ river for 150,000. Brar raised to 500,000 for his opponent to call and showed the J♥J♣, Dela Cruz chopped with the J♠3♠.
The action kicked off with a raise to 80,000 by Patrick Clarke on the button and Gursimran Brar defended the big blind to then check the 10♦2♠2♣ flop. Clarke bet 40,000 and Brar called after which the former smirked "what, you only call with king high?"
Brar replied "well, it is a dangerous board.
The turn brought the A♦ and Brar check-folded to a bet of 90,000 with a smile and "you got the read right" as he flashed the K♠.
Ronn Mesina opened to 80,000 and Patrick Clarke called out of the big blind to then lead the 7♥5♠4♦ flop for 40,000, picking up a call from Mesina. Clarke bet the 9♦ turn for 225,000 to pick up a reluctant call and then used a time bank on the 3♥ river. What followed was a bet of 625,000 and Mesina folded.

Seung Hyun Han raised to 60,000 on the button and Qi Xia defended the big blind. They invested 30,000 each on the 8♣6♦2♠ flop before they checked the 10♠ turn. Xia bet the 7♠ river for 100,000 and Nam called.
Xia had air with the K♥4♠ and Nam won the pot holding the Q♣9♥ for the ten-high straight.
Hyunsik Nam raised to 65,000 in the cutoff and then called a three-bet to 180,000 by Ronn Mesina on the button. Both elected to check the Q♦J♣3♠ flop to the 7♥ turn on which Nam checked again. Mesina bet 225,000 and that took down the pot without any resistance.
Gursimran Brar defended the big blind against a button raise by Patrick Clarke and checked the A♥J♦8♥ flop, Clarke continued for 40,000 and folded when Brar moved all-in. The Indian brought his suitcase to the venue for his flight later in the evening.
Seung Hyun Han then opened to 60,000 and Alexis Lim defended the big blind. Lim check-called for 30,000 on Q♥8♠5♦ before they checked through the 6♠ turn and 3♥ river. Lim's A♣2♣ beat K♥7♥.
After all finalists were introduced and the group picture was taken care of, the nine hopefuls took their seats and the cards are now officially in the air with 14 minutes left in the level.
