PokerNews Live Reported Events

SCOOP-120-H $2,100 NLHE [Sunday Warm-Up SE], $500K Gtd

Steve “Mr. Tim Caum” O’Dwyer is the man to catch going into the final day of the SCOOP-120-H $2,100 NLHE [Sunday Warm-Up SE], $500K Gtd.

Some 418 players sat down at the start of the tournament and only 28 of them remain in the hunt for the $150,547 top prize. O’Dwyer has a chip lead of more than one-million chips over second-placed “m.a-0000” but an O’Dwyer victory is far from a done deal because some of the game’s elite grinders are among the final 28 players.

Look out for players including Yuri “theNERDguy” Martins, Adrian “Amadi_07” Mateos, Benjamin “bencb789” Rolle, and Joao “Naza114” Vieira when play resumes. Also still in the hunt are the likes of Andrew “ClockWyze” Pantling, Tyler “Wonderboy222” Goatcher, Guillaume “Nolet20” Nolet, and Sami “Lrslzk” Kelopuro!

SCOOP-121-H $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, PKO], $1.5M Gtd

Some 138 players remain in the SCOOP-121-H $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, PKO], $1.5M Gtd and it is Brazil’s “Rebozeio” who returns as the chip leader. The Brazilian is in pole position for the $153,478 top prize, plus the bounties they pick up along the way, but there are some superstars of poker among the returning players.

One of those stars is Darrell “FourSixFour” Goh who returns in second-place, around 1.5 million chips behind Rebozeio. Mustapha “lasagnaaammm” Kanit and Stavros “IDOLLS” Kalfa bagged up enough chips to be in the top 10 when play resumes.

Further down the chip counts you’ll find such luminaries as Max “goodeh99” Silver, Alexandru “steakaddict” Papazian, Conor “1_conor_b_1” Beresford, and soccer superstar Neymar “neymar-jr” Jr! Imagine if he won!
