Ole Schemion Wins SCOOP $10k High Roller

We're now officially four weeks into the 2020 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) at PokerStars and another repeat winner was crowned on Wednesday. It was one of the most prolific players on the planet in Ole "wizowizo" Schemion", who topped SCOOP 102-H: $10,300 High Roller for $258,639 for his second SCOOP title of the series and fourth overall.

To say it's been a great series for the German juggernaut is an understatement, as he made his eight final table and third six-figure payout of the series on top of all the accolades.

Schemion wasn't alone among the repeat winners on Wednesday, as both Tobias "Senkel92" Leknes and "Bomber&Granater" also claimed their second SCOOP-titles of the 2020 series.

Ole "wizowizo" Schemion won his fourth SCOOP title in style by shipping the star-studded SCOOP-102-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, High Roller], $1M Gtd for $258,639 at PokerStars.

The tournament was a success with 118 entries including 38 re-entries generating a $1,180,000 to eclipse the $1 million guarantee.

This also marks the second SCOOP title for Schemion this year after previously winning the title in SCOOP-16-H: $2,100 PLO 6-Max, $400K Gtd for $111,853.

Romania's megaliciou$$$ finished runner-up for $200,291, while Wiktor "limitless" Malinowski was third for $155,261. Needless to say, the final table was a star-studded affair with the likes of Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer, Sergi "srxakgirona" Reixach, and Daniel "Oxota" Dvoress among them.

"shuhpat" Leads Day 1 of SCOOP-105-H: $5,200 NLHE Midweek Freeze

A total of 96 entry slips were sold for this event creating a prize pool of $480,000 but the night left off with only 11 survivors. "shuhpat" from Uzbekistan bagged the chip lead with a massive stack 7,665,305, almost one-third of the total chips in play.

The Uzbekistani found himself near the top of the counts mid-day after eliminating Sergi "srxakgirona" Reixach and "Stefan11222" in a double knockout. He caught even more fire during the last levels of the night to take over the chip lead and kept extending it from there on.

First, he took a big chunk from "FouEnculePL" who was second in chips when he rivered trips and managed to get paid well at Level 18 of the tournament, and shortly after, he won a massive pot when he turned a wheel against "Lackoo87gcb"'s aces and kings and managed to get full value to send him to the exit.

All remaining players are in the money and will receive at least $13,847. The winner will add $114,704 to their PokerStars account. Action will resume on Thursday at 1:00 pm EST with PokerNews live reporting right on top of it.
