Marco Johnson
Marco Johnson

Chino Rheem raised to 240,000 in middle position, Sebastian Schulze flatted in the cutoff, and Marco Johnson three-bet to 1,800,000 in the small blind. Rheem folded and Schulze back-jammed to put Johnson at risk, who had 6,765,000 behind. Johnson made the call.

Sebastian Schulze: AK

The board of 264Q9 ran out safe for Johnson, earning him the monster pot to propel into the chip lead.

Both Foxens Have Big Stacks Deep in Separate WSOP High Rollers

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Alex Foxen Kristen Foxen
Alex Foxen Kristen Foxen

The Foxen family has 10 combined bracelets — two this year. For now.

That number could increase to as many as 12 on Friday as both high rollers — Alex Foxen and Kristen Foxen — were deep and big-stacked in separate events at the time of publishing. Both future Poker Hall of Famers (maybe this year for Kristen?) have already won bracelets at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

But they're looking for more, and to chase the WSOP Player of the Year award.

Jaka Ups the Pressure

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Faraz Jaka opened to 240,000 from under the gun and Pyeongkang Kim called from late position. Kenzo Ishida also defended the big blind, taking the players three-ways to the K87 flop.

Both Ishida and Jaka made quick checks to Kim who bet 350,000. Ishida made a quick muck of their cards and Jaka raised to 925,000.

Kim checked their cards, looked at the board and also opted to give up the pot.

Joey Weissman Eliminated in 11th place ($35,230)

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Joey Weissman
Joey Weissman

Joey Weissman opened to 240,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Sebastian Schulze in the big blind who moved all in. Weissman had only just stacked up to just over two million after eliminating Michael Letal, and was willing to risk it again as he made the call.

Joey Weissman: 1010All in
Sebastian Schulze: AK

Weissman was holding on the 4Q6 flop, but that all ended after the dealer placed the K turn. A Q river didn't give Weissman anything to work with and he hit the rail in 11th place, narrowy missing out on making the final table.

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Vamerdino Magsakay opened to 250,000 from under the gun and Marco Johnson three-bet to 700,000 on the button.

Action folded back around to Magsakay who counted out his stack and picked up more chips and four-bet to 1,450,000. Johnson took some time before opting to jam, covering Magsakays' remaining two million stack. Magsakay snap folded, loosing nearly half his stack pre-flop.
