Fortunate River for Arieh

Level 23

Limit Hold'em

Josh Arieh raised from the small blind and Calvin Anderson defended his big blind.

The 653 flop checked through to the K turn which saw Arieh check again. Anderson bet, Arieh raised, and Anderson called.

He eventually slammed calling chips into the middle, only to be shown the A7 of Arieh, who was bluffing with a gutter and diamond but rivered top pair. Anderson scoffed at his bad luck, indicating that a non-diamond ace or four were Arieh's only outs.
