Short Stack Double for Dzivielevski

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Yuri Dzivielevski
Yuri Dzivielevski

Andras Nemeth had previously predicted to see Yuri Dzivielevski all-in for the last few blinds and turn over pocket aces as the "patience would be rewarded". The Hungarian then raised in the last hand of the level and called the all-in by Dzivielevski for 145,000.

Yuri Dzivielevski: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Andras Nemeth: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The flip went to the Brazilian on a board of {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}, as Dzivielevski stuck around.

Lyubovetskiy Gets Another Shove Through

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Andras Nemeth raised to 100,000 from under the gun and Sirzat Hissou in the big blind was the only caller. The {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop was checked by Hissou and Nemeth's bet of 225,000 did the trick to shut down Hissou.

One hand later, chip leader Daniel Dvoress made it 100,000 to go from the under-the-gun position. Andriy Lyubovetskiy pushed for 710,000 and Dvoress asked for a count before he sent the cards into the muck eventually.

With Yuri Dzivielevski reduced to a severe short stack, the action has grinded to a halt.

Dvoress Prevails With a Flop Raise

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Three ways to the {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop with the three biggest stacks involved, the action was checked by Daniel Dvoress in the small blind. Sirzat Hissou in the cutoff bet 150,000 and Andras Nemeth on the button folded.

Dvoress then check-raised to 430,000 and Hissou double-checked his cards before sending them into the muck with the words "why wait so long, do you have aces?". No cards were shown by either player but as Dvoress raked in the chips, he remarked two words only: "No aces."

Sam Grafton Eliminated in 7th Place (€85,280)

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

The action commenced with an open raise to 80,000 by Daniel Dvoress and Sam Grafton then pushed all-in with the shortest stack of 335,000 from one seat over.

Sirzat Hissou in the big blind asked for a count and moments before it was determined, he moved all-in over the top.

"How much is that?" Dvoress immediately inquired and the all-in of Hissou was for 565,000 in total, which the Canadian called to put two opponents at risk.

Sam Grafton: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Sirzat Hissou: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Daniel Dvoress: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Grafton had the best of it heading into the showdown but it was Dvoress who hit best on the {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop. The {q-Spades} turn gave Hissou a gutshot and flush draw, which he completed thanks to the {k-Spades} river. Grafton had to settle for 7th place while Hissou nearly tripled up.

Lyubovetskiy and Kaverman Get a Shove Through

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Andras Nemeth raised and Daniel Dvoress as the only player with a superior stack called from one seat over. The {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop and {7-Spades} turn were checked. Nemeth then bet the {5-Clubs} river for 50,000 and Dvoress folded.

Fast forward one hand, Nemeth raised to 80,000 and folded to a shove by Andriy Lyubovetskiy.

Nemeth then made it 80,000 to go once more and Byron Kaverman shipped it in for 750,000 in the big blind to become the next player to get a shove through.

Reza Tabatabai Eliminated in 8th Place (€66,630)

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Reza Tabatabai
Reza Tabatabai

Reza Tabatabai limped in the cutoff and Daniel Dvoress checked his option in the big blind. The {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop was checked by both players and Dvoress bet the {7-Diamonds} turn for 55,000, which earned a call from Tabatabai.

After the {3-Hearts} river, Dvoress checked and Tabatabai bet 210,000 with some 450,000 behind. Dvoress used one of his time bank extensions and then moved all-in with the covering stack for Tabatabai to call instantly.

Dvoress rolled over the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a full house and Tabatabai flashed his {6-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a straight to bow out in 8th place.

"Good game gentlemen. You need to win the tournament, Sir," Tabatabai said on his way out.

"I will try, Sir" Dvoress replied before Sam Grafton chimed in with a "are you talking to me?" with a big smile on the face.

Small Pots Only For Now

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Andras Nemeth min-raised the button in the last hand before the blinds went up and he was called by Sam Grafton in the big blind. "How much did you start with, Sam?" Nemeth asked and Grafton confirmed he had 405,000 behind.

The {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop was checked by Grafton and Nemeth bet to win the pot right there.

Reza Tabatabai then raised to 80,000 and Yuri Dzivielevski came along in the big blind. Once the {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop was checked, Dzivielevski checked the {k-Diamonds} turn and Tabatabai bet 130,000 to claim the pot with a delayed continuation bet.

Two Jams By Hissou Go Through

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Sirzat Hissou open-shoved for his last 350,000 and earned the blinds and big blind ante. He was then in the big blind and faced a raise to 60,000 by Byron Kaverman on the button. No call followed as Hissou had to part ways with some precious chips.

The very next hand, it folded around to the German in the small blind and he jammed once more to recover the lost chips of the previous hand when Andras Nemeth forfeited the big blind and big blind ante.
