Hissou Pays Off Nemeth

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Sirzat Hissou made it 60,000 to go and received a single caller in Andras Nemeth from one seat over in the hijack. The {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop was checked by Hissou and he then called a bet worth 65,000 by Nemeth. As they headed to the {j-Spades} turn, both players checked and saw the {7-Spades} river for free.

Hissou checked once more and then faced another bet of 225,000 by Nemeth, which sent the German into the tank. The call followed and Nemeth rolled over {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for jacks full of queens, to which Hissou mucked his cards with force and showed visible frustration.

Nemeth Jams Into Kaverman

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Byron Kaverman opened the action with a raise to 70,000 and Andras Nemeth three-bet to 205,000 on the button. The shot clock for Kaverman then ran down to almost zero before he clicked it back to 375,000. Nemeth moved all-in moments later and Kaverman asked for an exact count.

The shove was for 980,000 and Kaverman gave up. As Nemeth flashed his cards, the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} were then exposed to everyone.

"Just ask yourself what would Nicholas Chouity do," Sam Grafton joked and Kaverman replied "who the f##k is Nicholas Chouity? Tell me about guys I know." Grafton then filled him in on the former EPT Main Event champion before the next hand unfolded.

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Andras Nemeth raised to 60,000 from under the gun and picked up a call by Sirzat Hissou in the big blind. The flop fell {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Hissou checked to Nemeth, who bet 55,000 in order to collect the pot.

One hand later, Daniel Dvoress made it 60,000 to go from under the gun and Reza Tabatabai called on the button. Hissou moved all-in out of the small blind and Dvoress asked for an exact count. Once it was deemed to be for 590,000 total, Dvoress folded and Tabatabai tapped the table as well.

Level 18 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Byron Kaverman defended his big blind against a raise by Sam Greenwood and check-called a continuation bet on the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, which led them to the {j-Spades} turn. Kaverman checked once more and Greenwood then bet 70,000 with 150,000 behind.

The call by Kaverman followed, who then also checked the {9-Hearts} on the river. Greenwood bet 145,000 to leave himself with a single chip behind and Kaverman then moved all-in for Greenwood to call it off. The {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for a set of kings by Greenwood were briefly exposed but Kaverman had the best of it with {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a flush.

As the level drew to a close, Greenwood was eliminated in 9th place for a payday of €50,640.
