Yockey and Weis Trending Up

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Goran Mandic and Nicolas Malo have not been able to pick up any pots as of lately on their respective tables and their stacks have taken a toll with Malo now the bottom stack on table 31.

Mai Ha jammed a few times to stay afloat and then faced an overbet by Oliver Weis in a limped battle of the blinds. There was a full house on the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board and Weis made it 203,000 to go, Ha folded.

Over on the other outer table, Bryce Yockey limped the small blind and Michael Sideridis raised to 62,000 in the big blind, the call of Yockey followed. The {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop was checked by Yockey and he then called a bet worth 48,000. No betting action took place on the {8-Spades} turn and a 60,000-bet by Yockey won the pot uncontested on the {q-Hearts} river.

Pots for Weis and Sideridis

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

In a battle button versus big blind, Michael Sideridis and Ngoc Tai Hoang checked the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop and {2-Spades} turn. Hoang bet the {4-Diamonds} river for 77,000 and Sideridis announced a raise to 280,000.

Hoang gave it some thought and made the call and flashed the {9-Diamonds} after Sideridis flashed {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} for the flopped full house.

Over on the second outer table, Mike Del Vecchio battled with Oliver Weis with the former on the button and the latter in the big blind. The turn showed {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Weis made it 88,000 to go. Del Vecchio opted for a raise to 268,000 and Weis reluctantly called. The {2-Diamonds} on the river was checked and last aggressor Del Vecchio had to show {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}, Weis won the pot with {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for trips nines.

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

In the first hand coming back from the break, Mai Ha jammed the small blind for 305,000 and Jack Wu in the big blind was sent into the think tank. After more than two minutes, Wu made the call and Ha's rail started shouting.

Mai Ha: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Jack Wu: {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Ha immediately paired up on the {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop while Wu hit some outs on the {q-Clubs} turn. A blank {6-Hearts} fell on the river and Ha doubled, letting out a "come on" to celebrate the fact.
