Wang Eliminated by Wantman

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The dealers were instructed to stop after their current hand and David Wang, who had secured the pay jump, moved all-in for 77,000 in the cutoff. He was called by Nino Ullmann on the button who then got out of the way to the reshove of Matthew Wantman in the big blind.

David Wang: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Matthew Wantman: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades} flop provided no help and the {9-Diamonds} turn left Wang drawing to one of the two remaining tens in the deck only. A blank followed on the river and Wang was eliminated in 36th place.

Gupta Eliminated; Down to 36 Players

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Ashish Gupta
Ashish Gupta

Ashish Gupta moved all in for 223,000 from under the gun. Paawan Bansal tank-folded in the next position and it folded around to Fabian Quoss in the big blind who announced call.

Ashish Gupta: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Fabian Quoss: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Quoss had woken up with kings, and the {4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} flop restricted Gupta to just a single immediate out. The turn was the {5-Clubs} and the river the {9-Spades} and Gupta was eliminated.

"You were dead on the flop," commented Bansal, who said he'd folded ace-queen with the queen of clubs.

The remaining 36 players are redrawing around six tables.

Wang gets Short; Bansal Chips Up; Hassan Takes From Seidel

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Erik Seidel raised the button and he was called by Hussein Hassan in the small blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Hassan check-called a bet of 20,000. The {9-Hearts} turn was checked and a bet of 40,000 by Hassan on the {7-Hearts} river won the pot uncontested.

Rishabh Vekaria raised to 25,000 and Paawan Bansal three-bet jammed for what appeared to be 262,000, Vekaria folded without asking for a count.

In the meanwhile, David Wang went through the blinds and dropped below eight big blinds.

Manig Loeser: {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Del Vecchio Takes From Pepper

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Joining the action on the {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{j-Clubs} turn in a battle hijack versus cutoff, Gareth Pepper checked and Mike Del Vecchio made it 50,000 to go from one seat over. Pepper gave it some consideration and called. The {q-Diamonds} on the river was checked by Pepper and he folded to a bet of 135,000 by Del Vecchio.

Who Will Reach the Final Table of the 2020 Aussie Millions Main Event?

2020 Aussie Millions
2020 Aussie Millions

Only one tournament day separates the remaining 37 hopefuls out of 820 entries in the second-biggest Aussie Millions Main Event in history from reaching the final table and scoring a six-figure payday. Thus far, all contenders for one of the most prestigious titles in the poker world have A$31,160 locked up for their efforts, but all eyes are set on the top prize of A$1,850,000.

Leading the field into the penultimate day is Germany's Nino Ullmann, who already came close at winning an ANTON Jewellery Championship ring very early in the series at the Crown Casino complex in Melbourne. Ullmann claimed 1,497,000 to his name and edged past Rishabh Vekaria, who bagged up 1,380,000 in his first international poker tournament outside of Goa, India. High Roller regular Manig Loeser follows in third place with 1,355,000 with Bryce Yockey (1,246,000) and Randy Lew (1,094,000) on his heels.

Mike Del Vecchio may achieve a unique feat as he has bagged up chips for 11 tournament days in a row at the Aussie Millions, and if he was to do so again tonight, he would reach the third final table in a row. Del Vecchio will return to a stack of 1,093,000.

Other well-known names of the international poker circuit also successfully navigated their way to Day 4 such as Erik Seidel, Scott Margereson, Fabian Quoss, Pete Chen and Nick Pupillo.

The action recommences at 12.30 p.m. local time with blinds of 6,000-12,000 and a big blind ante of 12,000. As soon as the first player has been eliminated, the current eight-max format will redraw to six six-max tables and continue so until the final table of the last seven has been reached.

You can follow all the action right here on PokerNews and a live stream with hole cards displayed on a 30-minute delay will be available on the Run It Up Twitch channel as well.
