2026 World Series of Poker
Bryn Kenney opened to 850,000 from under the gun with A♦3♦, finding a call from Sean Winter in the big blind holding 2♠2♥.
Winter checked the 9♣4♥4♦ flop, and Kenney continued for 550,000. Winter took a moment before sending his cards into the muck, and Kenney raked in the pot.
Jason Koon opened to 1,200,000 on the button, and Brandon Wilson made the call in the big blind.
Wilson moved all in on the 5♥10♠4♠ flop for his last 850,000, and Koon slid in the call.
Brandon Wilson: 10♣8♣
Jason Koon: J♣10♦
Both players held a pair of tens, with Koon's kicker holding through the 2♠ turn and 3♣ river to send Wilson out in seventh place.
Brandon Wilson limped in early position with A♣7♣, and Samuel Mullur followed with a call from the hijack holding K♥Q♥. Bryn Kenney also limped from the small blind with A♠9♠, and Jason Koon checked his big blind option after looking down at 10♥2♦.
Kenney led out for 650,000 on the 3♥10♠5♣ flop, and Koon made the call. Wilson then moved all in for his last 150,000 and was at risk against two opponents after Mullur folded.
Kenney fired again for 1,175,000 on the A♦ turn, and Koon called to see the 8♥ river. That produced another lead from Kenney, making it 2,175,000. Koon replied with a raise to 7,000,000, earning a quick fold from Kenney.
Koon tabled his pair of tens after betting Kenney off the best hand for the side pot. That also allowed Wilson to stay alive, as he took down the main pot after Kenney's fold.
Brandon Wilson in the cutoff opened to 800,000. Adrian Mateos in the small blind three-bet enough to cover Wilson, then Sean Winter in the big blind four-bet all-in for 3,950,000. Wilson called to also find himself at risk for 4,225,000.
Sean Winter: A♠Q♠
Brandon Wilson: J♦J♣
Adrian Mateos: A♣10♣
Mateos flopped a flush draw on 9♣8♥6♣, and Winter paired his queen with the Q♦ turn. The 6♥ completed the board so Winter tripled up while Wilson took the two big blinds side pot.
Bryn Kenney opened to 800,000 with Q♣J♥ on the button, and David Einhorn defended his big blind holding K♣8♥.
Einhorn checked the 6♥A♣10♥ flop, and Kenney continued for 650,000. That produced an instant fold from Einhorn, and Kenney moved into the chip lead.

Poker G.O.A.T. Phil Ivey's deepest run of the 2026 World Series of Poker came to an end in the most expensive tournament on the schedule.
The 11-time bracelet winner was eliminated in eighth place in the $250,000 Super High Roller for $553,270 after running pocket jacks into the pocket queens of Bryn Kenney at the official final table.
While the result falls short of bracelet number 12, it still represents Ivey's best finish of the summer and his first final-table appearance of the series.
The tournament attracted 56 entries and generated a $13,720,000 prize pool, with a first-place prize of $4,334,411 awaiting the eventual champion.
The WSOP has moved the final table to the streamed featured tables area, which means our live reporting will have to be delayed by around 2.5 hours to match the live stream, per the WSOP media guidelines.
