2026 World Series of Poker
Action was picked up on the flop of 5♠3♠A♠, and Nariman Yaghmai was in the small blind and checked, while Qing Lu was in the big blind and also checked.
On the turn 10♦, both players elected to check again.
The river 10♠ brought a bet of 400,000 from Yaghmai, and Lu folded.
For one of the first times at the final table, when it folded to Qing Lu in the small blind, she looked at her cards. Lu then raised to 800,000 and Juan Rodriguez called from the big blind.
Both players were happy to check the 6♥7♥7♣ flop and the J♣ hit the turn. Lu checked, and Rodriguez bet 600,000. Lu continued with a call.
The two checked again on the 3♦ river and Lu tabled A♠J♠ for a pair of jacks to win the pot.
Chad Lipton raised to 800,000 under the gun and Nariman Yaghmai was the only caller on the button.
The dealer fanned the 7♠8♣K♠ flop, and Lipton check-folded against the 700,000 bet from Yaghmai.
Juan Rodriguez raised from under the gun to 800,000, and Qing Lu defended her big blind with a call. The flop came out with 3♣3♠10♦. Lu checked to the preflop raiser, who bet 500,000. Lu called.
Action slowed down on the turn 4♦, and the river 7♠ as both players checked.
Lu turned over A♣7♦ for two pair, and Rodriguez turned over A♥10♣ for the higher two pair and a small victory.
When it folded to Juan Rodriguez in the small blind, he raised to 1,100,000 and Chad Lipton jammed for 5,300,000 from the big blind. Rodriguez snap-called.
Chad Lipton: A♥3♥
Juan Rodriguez: Q♦Q♣
Lipton was in bad shape, and Rodriguez had the chance to record his third elimination of the day.
The dealer fanned the 2♣4♥8♥ flop and Rodriguez said to Lipton, "That's about as good of a flop as you could hope for, Chad."
Lipton didn't flinch and simply stared at the spot where the turn card would land.
The dealer put out the 2♦ turn, and Rodriguez shouted to his rail, "We're gonna hold, we're gonna hold!"
However, the river had other ideas as the A♠ completed the runout, giving Lipton one of the cards he needed to survive
Chad Lipton raised the button to 800,000 and Qing Lu jammed from the big blind, covering Lipton. Lipton paused momentarily before folding.
The next hand, Lu completed from the small blind without looking at her cards. Juan Rodriguez checked his option from the big blind, and Lu announced a "dark check" before the flop came down Q♣Q♦K♠.
Rodriguez checked and the 4♠ arrived on the turn. Lu checked again before folding to a bet of 400,000 from Rodriguez.
