Stay tuned for chip counts and a recap of today's action.
Brandon Hamlet opened to 40,000 from early position before Christopher Park jammed for 130,000 on the button.
Hamlet called to put Park at risk.
Christopher Park: A♦K♣
Brandon Hamlet: 5♠5♥
The Q♠9♥9♦ flop gave Park some counterfeit outs, but the turn was a decisive one when the 5♦ peeled to give Hamlet a full house.
The meaningless 2♠ came on the river to eliminate Park from contention.
The floor staff has announced that there will be two more hands before play finishes for tonight.
Dan Shak raised to 30,000 from late position and Joey Weissman in the small blind put in a three-bet to 120,000. The big blind got out of the way and action was back on Shak, who put in another raise to 400,000.
Weissman took his time to go over his options before going all in, covering Shak. Shak quickly called putting his entire 1,005,000 stack on the line.
Dan Shak: A♦K♣
Joey Weissman: K♠K♥
The Q♦6♠A♠ flop gave the advantage to Shak, leaving Weissman only with runner-runner outs or the case king. The tables turned yet again on the K♦ turn, leaving Shak with only one out since one of the two aces were folded pre flop.
The river was the insignificant Q♣ and Weissman eliminated Shak in one of the biggest pots of the tournament so far.
Alexis Cruz Martinez raised to 40,000 from middle position and only Roman Hrabec called from the big blind.
Hrabec started with a check on the 10♠A♣5♦ flop, and Martinez fired a continuation-bet for 50,000. Hrabec called.
A second check came from Hrabec on the 2♣ turn. Martinez placed out a bet, and Hrabec snap-folded.
The action started with a raise under the gun to 30,000 from Chad Lipton before Thomas Eychenne put his remaining 275,000 chips in the middle.
It folded to Jesse Lonis on the button who flat called. It wasn't over with the action yet, however, as big blind Santiago Plante looked down at his hand and moved all in for 980,000 and Lipton wasted no time folding. Lonis quickly called covering both Plante and Eychenne.
Thomas Eychenne: 10♠10♦
Santiago Plante: A♦K♦
Jesse Lonis: A♠K♠
The board ran out clean for Eychenne as the dealer put down Q♣Q♥2♥7♦8♠ meaning Eychenne tripled up while Plante and Lonis chopped up the rest of the chips.
