The 2026 Battle of Malta Summer Edition Main Event has a winner! From a field of 2,667 entries that generated a total prize pool of €1,186,962, only eight players returned for Day 5 and the final table.
After the first four eliminations, the remaining four players agreed to deal. They then decided to let luck choose a winner, and Alejandro Asenjo came out on top to claim the Battle of Malta title.
Thanks to the deal, Asenjo takes home €94,520 along with the trophy, while Marko Cosic finishes as runner-up for €90,850.
The largest payout went to Stavros Passias, who collected €114,150 for third place, while Georgios Papakonstantinou received €100,800 after being eliminated in fourth place.
