Max Greenwood Hits Perfect Flop

Action folded to Max Greenwood in late position and he raised to 900. He got one caller in the cutoff seat and they took a flop heads up.

The flop came {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} {3-Spades} and Greewood managed to check-raise his opponent all in. The players showed:

Greenwood: {8-Spades} {6-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}

The turn and river blanked and Greenwood stacked the pot. He is now a force with 82,275.

A player in middle position raised to 800 and Jon "Pearljammer" Turner called from the button.

The flop came {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. The MP player bet 1,150, Turner raised to 3,250, and his opponent shoved all in for a total of 9,700. Turner called.

Turner showed {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the flopped straight, and his opponent {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for top pair. Treys on both the turn and river didn't change things, and Turner has knocked out an opponent.

Turner is up to 52,000.

Kido Pham Climbing

Kido Pham - Event #50
Kido Pham - Event #50
On a board of {A-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {5-Diamonds}, Kido Pham was heads up with a lone opponent and bet enough to put him all in. Pham got called and his {9-Hearts} {6-Hearts} beat his opponent's {A-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} and he stacked the pot. Pham is now working with a stack of about 87,000.

Rheeming the Competition

David Rheem just chipped up in a big way. With {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades}, Rheem went all the way to the river against one opponent who had {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}. Rheem flopped a set when the flop came {Q-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {4-Hearts}, and his opponent never improved when the turn and river were {4-Clubs} and {5-Clubs}.

Rheem now has 98,000 chips.

Davidson Matthew Eliminated

After losing a big chunk of his stack a bit earlier Davidson Matthew responded to an opponent's preflop raise by moving in for his last 13,000 holding {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs}. The other player called and showed {K-Spades} {Q-Spades}. The {Q-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {3-Clubs} gave the other player a pair and Matthew a flush draw, but the {3-Hearts} came on the turn and the {7-Hearts} on the river and Matthew was eliminated.

Bred in Scandanavia

Jonas Helness has been super-aggressive of late at his table, managing to push some players around. He was heads up in this hand, and the turn had already been dealt giving us a {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} board.

Helness bet 10,000 after it was checked to him and his opponent called.

The river came {Q-Spades} prompting Helness to move all in for 12,000 after it was checked to him. After a lengthy dwell, his opponent folded {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} face-up.

Helness is up to 34,500 now.
