Juha Helppi Eliminated

Juha Helppi
Juha Helppi
Juha was all in from the small blind with {A-?} -X and had the misfortune of running into the big blind's pocket kings. His opponent made two pair on the flop and a full house on the turn to eliminate Helppi from the Main Event.

Darling Klodnicki

On a turn of {J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}, Jordan Morgan checks and Chris Klodnicki (runner-up to Barry Greenstein in the razz event) bets 1,300. Morgan check-raises to 4,500 and Klodnicki calls.

The river is {2-Hearts} and Morgan bets 15,000. Klodnicki calls all in for 11,600 and Morgan takes some back. Klodnicki turns over {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, and Morgan mucks. He's down to 37,000, while Klodnicki has 34,000.

Bluffing the Big Stack

In the first hand back from break, we came on a table where one of our current leaders, David Rheem, was facing a 25,000 bet on the river. The pot held over 30,000. The board read {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{7-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

Rheem was in the tank for several minutes. He told his opponent he had queens. His opponent offered to show Rheem his hand if he folded, and Rheem did. His opponent showed {10-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Rheem is still near the top of the board with around 80,000.

Little: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

Board: {2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Sowers was left with 1,200 after the hand and was eliminated shortly after. Little is up to 29,000.

Gray Folds Kings Preflop!

A player opened with a preflop raise to 1,000 before Craig Gray raised it up to 3,000. His opponent then moved all in, and Gray went into the tank. He must've picked up a tell as he decided to lay down his pocket kings preflop! What a read it was as his opponent flashed pocket aces! Gray survives the cold-deck and will go to dinner with a story to tell.
