Fierro Feels a Three-Bet

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Leonid Bilokur opened to 41,000 with {10-Clubs} {J-Clubs} in the hijack, and the action came to Nicolas Fierro in the small blind. He had a marginal {K-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}, but it was good enough to make a three-bet to 106,000. Bilokur called, and off they went to the flop

It came {K-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {8-Hearts} to give Fierro two pair, and he bet 144,000 to win the pot.

Three to the Flop

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

First in from the cutoff seat, Randy Lew opened to 32,000 with {A-Clubs} {9-Clubs}, and he found action in two places. Nico Fierro called with {3-Clubs} {3-Spades} in the small blind, Jason Koon called with {K-Diamonds} {10-Spades} in the big, and it was three-handed to the flop.

It came {8-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}, and it checked all the way through to the {2-Spades} turn. Koon made a bet of 68,000 to protect his hand, and Lew eventually surmised that he was beaten. He folded, Fierro did too, and Koon was pushed the pot.
