No Action

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Isaac Haxton just took a walk in the big blind, but it was one he probably didn't want. He held his {A-Spades} {K-Clubs} up smirked as he showed the table what smart folds they'd made.

Koon Takes Another

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jonathan Duhamel raised to 34,000 from the button with {A-Clubs} {5-Clubs}, and Jason Koon defended his big blind with {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}.

He flopped a pair on the {Q-Spades} {3-Clubs} {7-Spades}, but it went check-check to the {K-Hearts} turn. Now Koon made a motion to lead out with a bet, and Duhamel quickly slid his cards into the muck.

Lew Doubles Through Metaal

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Nicolas Fierro raised to 33,000 with {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts} from early position and Govert Metaal called from the cutoff with {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. Randy Lew looked down at {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} in the big blind and shoved all in after a few moments. Fierro folded, Metaal called, and it was off to the races.

The flop came down {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} to give Lew top set and a huge lead in the hand. The {K-Spades} turn and {2-Spades} river secured the double for Lew, back in the game with about 500,000.

Metaal Doubles

Govert Metaal

In middle position, Jonathan Duhamel came in raising to 36,000, and the table folded around to the blinds. In the small, Govert Metaal looked down at {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} and made a three-bet to 92,000, and now it was back on Duhamel. He spent some time considering what to do with his {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}, but after about a minute, he slid out a tall tower of green chips to put Metaal all in. The call came after about 15 seconds, and Metaal was flipping for his tournament life.

Things went well for the Dutchman as the board ran out {K-Spades} {Q-Spades} {8-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}, and he's found a big double. It knocks Duhamel down under the million-chip mark, and Metaal is now up above the chip average and into second place overall.
