Four-Way All-In, No Bustout - Brankovic Felted by Kronwitter

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Daniel Studer was in the tank as three players in front of him had been all in featuring Andre Ellbracht, Ossama Khamis and Mourad Jazouli. Studer eventually called to see the following showdown.

Mourad Jazouli: {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Daniel Studer: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Ossama Khamis: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Andre Ellbracht: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}

The board came {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and both short stacks chopped with the straight, Fazouli had only some 6,000 though and Studer 47,600.

One table over, Eddie Brankovic jammed the {9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} turn and Jonas Kronwitter reluctantly called with {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Brankovic only had {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} and missed his additional gutshot on a blank {2-Diamonds} river.

First Break of the Day

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Only 23 players out of 62 entries remain as they are sent on the first 15-minute break of the day. When they return, the registration will officially close.

In the last hand of the level, Hassan Mattout faced the shove of Tuncay Tutus on the {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} turn and inquired if he can re-enter if he still has chips. That request was denied and Mattout called it off for around 30,000 with the {a-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} as Tutus tabled {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

The {4-Spades} on the river changed nothing and Mattout was gone for now.

Small Pot for Hairabedian

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Once the action got underway, the pots remained rather small on the outer tables as Roger Hairabedian won a pot by betting the {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts} river for 15,000 and forced a fold from Tuncay Tutus.

Doubles for Casagrande and Guenduez

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Harry Casagrande clashed with Daniel Studer and was the player at risk holding the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Studer had the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and the board came {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to leave Studer with two chips and a chair.

Over on the second outer table, Uemit Guenduez was all-in after a {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop with the {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Karol Konopka looked him up with [s8d7c4h]. The {4-Clubs} turn and {q-Spades} river improved Guenduez to a straight and he doubled for around 75,000.

Studer Runs Out of Chips

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Daniel Studer got his last chips in before the flop and found two customers in Kristijan Maric and Robert Wilke sticking around to play a side pot on the {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop. The {10-Hearts} turn and {3-Clubs} on the river were checked down and Wilke tabled {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for a pair of aces.

Maric had that beat with {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for two pair and Studer hit the rail with {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for a pair of kings.

Jazouli Doubles Once

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Ossama Khamis looked up Mourad Jazouli for the last 12,500 and his {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} faced the {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts} of Jazouli. The board came {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{q-Hearts} as Jazouli rivered a flush.

A multiway pot then emerged with Jazouli involved with very few big blinds behind to the {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} river. As they checked it down, Christian Stratmeyer had the best of it with {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.
