€2,500 PLO High Roller, €100K Gtd.
Day 1 Started
Live poker tournaments are back in one of Europe's biggest card rooms and the first major tournament with a six-digit prize pool will kick off today at 8 p.m. local time at the King's Resort and Casino in Rozvadov, host of the World Series of Poker Europe in the last few years.
The past few days and weeks already saw some smaller events kick off and the VIP Invitational with €100,000 in guaranteed prizes currently plays down to a champion. All four-card lovers will battle for at least the same amount in cash prizes but it would not be a surprise to see a decent field emerge in the €2,500 Pot Limit Omaha High Roller, which is slated to determine a winner this weekend.
Day 1 will be a rather short affair as only six levels of 30 minutes are foreseen and the late registration will be available in the early stages of Day 2 when the action gets back underway at 2 p.m. local time on Sunday, June 21st 2020 with another four levels of 30 minutes to take a shot at the PLO action.
Several big names are expected to take part in the tournament such as the WSOP bracelet winners Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Jan-Peter Jachtmann, former football striker Sergej Barbarez, Tony G, Harry Casagrande, and cash game player Yusuf Kurt who won the €2,000 PLO event at the 2014 Poker EM.
All players will start with 50,000 in chips and the level duration for the entire tournament is set to 30 minutes each. Unlimited re-entries are available throughout the first ten levels and and action of the final day will also be streamed at some point. Poker fans from all over the world can already enjoy NLHE cash game action today on the King's Resort Twitch channel.

The poker arena at King's is busy with the Invitational Event which drew more than 200 entries and the €150 Big Saturday Monsterstack created a big field of 390 entries with more players hoping to join the action. In around 90 minutes, the €2,500 PLO High Roller is scheduled to kick off and you can find some early impressions below.
As usual, a High Roller tournament doesn't exactly start on time and the PLO High Roller is no different even after such a long hiatus.
The good news is that there are already nine players registered and they have been called into the poker arena, the action is expected to kick off in a few minutes from now.

The table banter between Ossama Khamis and Jules Ayoub has already kicked off and both clashed in a minor pot with just 1,500 in the middle. Ayoug had turned the nut straight and mucked his on the river while Khamis tabled for a pair that had improved to running diamonds for a flush.
"I saved money then," Ayoub conceded as he took a small hit early on.

On the turn, Ayoub bet the pot for 11,200 and picked up two calls. The on the river was checked and Ayoub flashed for the straight. Khamis flipped over for two pair and a busted flushdraw but Engelke had the best of it with for a full house.
