Darcourt Trips In to A Pot

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Guillaume Darcourt checked it over to Yannick Chevrier who was on the button and he bet 41,000 before Darcourt made the call.

The turn card was the {10-Spades} and another check from Darcourt saw a 44,000 bet from Chevrier. Again Darcourt made the call.

The river was the {6-Clubs} and Darcourt checked for the final time. A bet of 70,000 this time from Chevrier and one last call from Darcourt.

Chevrier shrugged and reluctantly turned over his {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and both players sighed, but for very different reasons, when Darcourt tabled {j-Spades}{10-Hearts} for trips.

MacPhee Eliminates Slusarek

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We arrived on the scene to find Patryk Slusarek all in and at risk against Kevin MacPhee for his last roughly 165,000. The hands were tabled to find MacPhee in a dominating position.

Slusarek: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
MacPhee: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{2-Spades}{J-Clubs}, keeping MacPhee's cowboys out in front. Slusarek made his way to the rail and MacPhee increased his stack to about 1.17 million.

Two in a Row for MacPhee

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Immediately following the previous hand, Kevin MacPhee and Marton Czuczor clashed in a preflop all in that saw the latter at risk for approximately 130,000.

MacPhee showed {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and was up against Czuczor's {A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Members of the table let out gasps when the saw the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop hit the table, giving Czuczor a commanding position in the hand with trip aces.

MacPhee picked up some outs, however, when the {Q-Hearts} dropped down on the turn. In the end, he was able to make his heart flush after the {2-Hearts} drilled the river to eliminate Czuczor from play. That makes two eliminations in a row for MacPhee who is now sitting on 1.3 million in chips.

Peretti Doubles Through Chevrier

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Joining the action on the turn of a {8-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} board, Yannick Chevrier bet 22,000 and then called the all in of Pierre Peretti for 53,000 in total with {Q-Clubs} {J-Spades}. The queen-high straight was no good, as Peretti turned over {Q-Spades} {K-Clubs} for the higher straight and the {J-Clubs} river changed nothing with regards to the outcome of the hand.

"ElkY" Shaking His Head

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier

Bertrand Grospellier opened for 17,000 under the gun and found one player behind him shoving for 110,000 total. Action folded back to Grospellier who instantly called.

Grospellier: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}

Grospellier would flop top pair and top kicker, but the other two community cards made that Grospellier was behind pretty far: {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

After the {2-Clubs} on the turn Grospellier had just a chop to hope for, but wouldn't even get that: {5-Diamonds} on the river.

The French Team Pro somewhat angrily handed over the tower of 5,000's, and slammed his hand down on his remaining stack, which resulted in a bit of a messy pile of chips in front of him. Grospellier heavily shook his head, clearly not happy with how things were going lately.

Qu Gone

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Eric Qu opened from the cut-off for 17,000 and then called a 37,000 three bet from Daniel Carlsson on the button. The blinds folded and it was heads up.

The flop was {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and a check from Qu saw Carlsson bet 30,000 and then call when Qu shoved.

Qu was dumbfounded when he saw his {q-Clubs}{j-Spades} was in big trouble versus the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} of Carlsson.

The turn {7-Diamonds} and river {2-Clubs} send Qu to the rail.

Chevrier Bluffs It Off

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Yannick Chevrier and Matas Cimbolas faced off over a flop of {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Chevrier check-raised Cimbolas to 40,000 after a 15,000 bet and Cimbolas called. The turn card {7-Spades} saw Chevrier lead out now for 60,000 and Cimbolas made the call.

The river card was the {a-Spades} and Chevrier moved all in for a little over 100,000. Cimbolas threw in one chip to indicate a call. He didn’t really want to show but then turned over his {q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} bluff. Cimbolas had busted him with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

Savinelli Raises River

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We came upon Carlo Savinelli and Milan Tomasz Rabsz looking at a completed board of {J-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. With a full house of aces full of jacks on the board, Savinelli checked the action over to Rabsz. He cut out a bet of 75,000, sending Savinelli deep into the tank.

After just under three minutes in the tank, Savinelli came out with a check-raise to 325,000. Rabdz instantly threw his hand away and Savinelli took the pot.

Pollak Gets Shown an Ace

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Benjamin Pollak
Benjamin Pollak

The {2-Spades} {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {J-Clubs} board was already complete and Sergio Aido moved all in for 160,000, which pretty much equaled the amount of chips in the middle of the table. Benjamin Pollak tanked for ages but couldn't get any read. He suspected an ace and folded, Aido showed him the {A-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}.

Mnahi Doubles Through Dahmani

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Saoud Mnahi was all in and at risk before the flop for exactly 100,000 against Omar Dahmani. The hands were exposed to find Mnhai out in front.

Mnahi: {K-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Dahmani: {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

A run out of {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} ensured that Mnahi's pocket kings would hold up as the best hand. He scored the double and now has about 220,000 to Dahmani's 170,000.
