Diaz Has Kicker Problem Against Carlino

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Guillaume Diaz moved all in for 68,000 and the action folded to Joseph Carlino in the big blind. He asked for a count, checked his cards once again and then made the call with {A-Spades} {10-Spades}. Diaz was at risk with {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts} and joined the rail after a board of {3-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {4-Spades} {J-Clubs}. Carlino was sorry to have eliminated a fellow Frenchman and said he only called because it was the hand that won him the ticket through a Live Satellite.

Guyon Shoves on Alilovic

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Adrien Guyon was the initial preflop raiser and made a continuation bet of 16,000 on the {3-Spades} {6-Hearts} {5-Clubs} flop. Miroslav Alilovic check-raised to 41,000 out of the big blind and Guyon called before both players checked the {9-Hearts} turn. Alilovic checked the {6-Clubs} river as well and Guyon now moved all in for 240,000.

It took about two minutes before Alilovic released his cards.

Rabsz Pressures Nassar

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Milan Tomasz Rabsz opened the action from early position for 13,000 and then called a 31,000 bet from Firas Nassar in the small blind.

The flop was {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Nassar led out for 38,000. Rabsz made the call and they saw the {q-Spades} hit the turn.

Nassar checked and Rabsz slid out a bet of 75,000 which was just under half of Nasar’s remaining stack.

Nassar counted out the calling chips and stacked them up. Then he counted out another 75,000 and put them next to that stack. After that he added the chips together in one big tower and sat for several minutes deciding on his move. Eventually he folded.

Tikhoniouk Eliminates Aznar

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

A short-stacked Pascal Aznar was all in and at risk before the flop against start-of-day chip leader Alex Tikhoniouk.

Tikhoniouk: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Aznar: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{K-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, pairing Tikhoniouk's king on the flop and giving him the knock out. Tikhoniouk now has right around 400,000 to his name.
