A player in early position opened to 3,000, Daniel Smiljkovic three-bet to 9,000 from the hijack and William Crot four-bet to 21,000 from the big blind. The original raiser folded, Smiljkovic moved all in and Crot called.

Iyer Busts Following Valiant Comeback Effort

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Abhinav Iyer moved all in from early position with a short stack. Parker Talbot was on the same table and commented on how his fellow player had already made a comeback from less than one big blind.

Ashley Crepiat was the only player to call Iyer's shove and had him well covered as players turned their cards.

Abhinav Iyer: JJ
Ashley Crepiat: A10

It looked like Iyer was about to well and truly make it back into the game, but the board ran out 35A82 to give Crepiat a pair of aces. He won the pot and Iyer, despite a valiant comeback effort, was eliminated from the tournament.

Jensen Bernard had a coin flip preflop with the AK, as Andreia-Elena Coman looked him up with the 99.

The K54 flop improved the Belgian to the superior pair and he remained ahead with the 10 turn.

However, the 9 river gave Coman a set of nines to spell the end for Bernard.

Aguiarramos Sends Khatri Out

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Tiago Aguiarramos opened 2,400 under the gun, and Bhavin Khatri moved all-in for 3,600 on the button. Otmane El Fquir was in the big blind and questioned if the door was going to be open for Aguiarramos before making the call. It was indeed open, but Aguiarramos didn't put in another raise as he tossed in a call as well.

The 932 flop was checked through to the Q turn, where El Fquir quickly check-folded to a bet of 2,500 from Aguiarramos, forcing both remaining hands to be turned on their backs.

Bhavin Khatri: AJ
Tiago Aguiarramos: QJ

Khatri couldn't pull ahead as the K completed the board, eliminating him from the tournament.

Choffardet Hero-Calls At the Wrong Time

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With some 32,000 in the middle to the A537K river, Fabian Niederreiter moved all-in. Mathieu Choffardet riffled the 17,000 chips he had behind and went into the tank, so long that the clock was called on him.

During the additional thirty seconds, Choffardet called with the KQ for a turned flush draw and rivered pair of kings. It was no good, as Niederreiter held 33 for the flopped set.

Laidlaw Caught Bluffing on River

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action was on the river on a board of A243J when Dan Laidlaw shoved all in for less than 20,000 chips. Leandro Dirlewanger eventually made the call with the bigger stack.

Laidlaw turned over Q4x for a low pair that he'd turned into a bluff. He got up to take his leave as Dirlewanger tabled AA for a set of aces to win the pot.
