Oleksii Khoroshenin Doubles Through Joseph Cheong

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

It folded to Oleksii Khoroshenin in the small blind and he moved all in for 1,790,000. Joseph Cheong asked how much it was and called.

Khoroshenin turned over {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} against Cheong's {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. The board ran out {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and Khoroshenin doubled up to leave Cheong with less than three big blinds.

Morozovs has Tens; Khoroshenin Shoves

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

From under the gun, Mihails Morozovs raised to 275,000 and Ari Engel called in the big blind. The flop of {K-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}went check, check. On the {3-Clubs} turn, Engel checked. Morozovs bet 225,000 and Engel folded. Morozovs then showed him his cards and the dealer subsequently turned them over for all to see as per "show one, show all," Morozovs had the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.

One hand later, Oleksii Khoroshenin moved all in from under the gun and scooped the blinds and antes.

Ilkin Amirov Eliminated in 9th Place (€95,720)

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Ilkin Amirov
Ilkin Amirov

Ari Engel got through with a three-bet all in, forcing out initial raiser Connor Drinan and then it was Ilkin Amirov who moved all in from under the gun. The action folded to Kyle Keranen in the small blind and he asked for a count. The shove of the Azerbaijani was for 1,970,000 and Keranen also asked Oleksii Khoroshenin in the big blind for his stack. "About 1.3," the latter replied.

Keranen then moved all in and Khoroshenin folded.

Amirov: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Keranen: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop changed nothing, but Keranen picked up an additional flush draw with the {10-Hearts} turn. It was the {A-Diamonds} river that improved him to a pair of aces and Amirov was sent to the rail in 9th place for a payday of €95,720.

Ari Engel Chips Up

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

The start of the nine-handed table has been rather slow and Ari Engel was the most active player. He raised three times in a row to 205,000.

In the second hand, Patrick Leonard defended the big blind and the duo then checked down the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} board entirely. Engel scooped the pot with an ace and the blinds and antes came to him through the other two hands to chip up nicely.

Olov Jansson Eliminated in 10th Place (€78,550)

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Olov Jansson
Olov Jansson

Patrick Leonard raised to 225,000 and Olov Jansson called in the big blind. On the {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop, Jansson checked and Leonard bet 300,000. Jansson spent quite some time in the think tank and the clock was called on him.

After 30 seconds on his one minute countdown, Jansson moved all in for around 1,050,000 and Leonard quickly called.

Jansson: {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Leonard: {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The {5-Hearts} turn changed nothing whatsoever, but the {6-Clubs} river gave Leonard a flush and eliminated Jansson in 10th place. One year ago, the Swede came 9th in this very event. The remaining nine players will now redraw to the unofficial nine-handed final table.

Connor Drinan Loses Two Pots

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand 1

Pascal Hartmann raised to 200,000 and Connor Drinan called in the big blind. On the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, Drinan checked and Hartmann continued for 205,000, Drinan called. The {J-Spades} appeared on the turn and Drinan checked, Hartmann bet 380,000 and that did the trick.

Hand 2

Drinan raised to 200,000 from the button and Mihails Morozovs three-bet to 550,000 in the small blind. Drinan called and the flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Morozovs continued for 425,000 and Drinan let go the second hand in a row.

Patrick Leonard Doubles Through Ilkin Amirov

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

Ilkin Amirov opened to 225,000 under the gun and Patrick Leonard three-bet to 600000 from the small blind. Amirov moved all in and Leonard snap-called.

Leonard showed {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and Amirov let out a slew of expletives in what we presume was Azeri before showing {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

The board ran out {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Leonard doubled up to just over 5,000,000
