Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Ari Engel
Ari Engel

The action folded around to Connor Drinan in the small blind and he shoved for more than three million. Ari Engel peeked at his cards and quickly called out of the big blind with an almost identical stack.

Engel: {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Drinan: {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Drinan improved to a pair of nines. The stacks were counted and Engel was covered, though not by much, and was eliminated in fifth place for €307,900.

Oleksii Khoroshenin Jams up Stack

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

In the cutoff, Oleksii Khoroshenin raised to 325,000 and Ari Engel called out of the big blind. On the {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Engel check-called a bet worth 350,000 and checked again the {2-Clubs} turn. Khoroshenin bet 475,000 and Engel folded.

Then, Khoroshenin raised to 325,000 and Connor Drinan shoved from one seat over for 3,195,000 to force folds all around.

Engel raised to 350,000 from the cutoff and Khoroshenin shoved for around 3,800,000 with Engel folding. He raised the very next hand again to 350,000 and Kyle Keranen three-bet to 800,000 from the button. Khoroshenin shoved in the small blind and all his oppponents folded.

Joseph Cheong Eliminated in 6th Place (€233,300)

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Joseph Cheong
Joseph Cheong

It folded to Joseph Cheong in the small blind who moved all in. Connor Drinan had a quick glance at both players' stack sizes.

"I am going to call," he said, slowly placing his chips over the line.

"Don't do that," says Cheong turning over {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} as Drinan showed {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{k-Spades} and after a quick double check of the stack sizes, it showed that Drinan had Cheong covered by less that one big blind, and Cheong was eliminated.

Patrick Leonard Eliminated in 7th Place (€169,700)

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

Patrick Leonard raised to 350,000 and was four-bet by Mihails Morozovs to 1,100,000. Leonard thought for a minute before moving all in and his opponent's chips almost beat his into the pot.

Leonard showed {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} but was up against Morozovs's {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

The flop was {6-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs} with numerous backdoors to help Leonard's cause. The turn was the {j-Spades} which opened up both his straight and flush draws, along with his initial two queen outs. However the river was another {k-Clubs} giving Morozovos quads and eliminating Leonard.

Kyle Keranen Takes from Patrick Leonard

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Patrick Leonard raised to 375,000 and Mihails Morozovs called in the small blind, as did Kyle Keranen in the big blind. All three checked the {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop. On the {8-Spades} turn, Morozovs checked and Keranen bet 550,000. Leonard called and Morozovs folded.

On the {9-Diamonds} river, Keranen bet 675,000 and Leonard was sent into the think tank. After some time he said "I flopped top set," and mentioned later "king king." Then, Leonard added "I don't know how you have a queen there," and the clock was called on him. Half a minute passed and Leonard eventually called to get shown {7-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a back door straight by Keranen.

Ari Engel Jams

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Connor Drinan raised to 320,000 from the button and Ari Engel moved all in from the small blind. Mihails Morozovs in the big blind asked for a count of the shove and Engel was at risk for 4,495,000. Morozovs had less than that and also checked with Drinan for his stack, then folded. Drinan snap-folded and Morozovs added "If you wouldn't have three-bet, I would have pushed."

Pascal Hartmann
Pascal Hartmann

Pascal Hartmann moved all in for just over 1,000,000 in chips and it folded to Patrick Leonard in the big blind who snap-called and turned over {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. Hartmann winced as he showed {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

There was no help for the last German in the field as the baord ran out {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{a-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}, with Leonard's kings holding to boost his stack to just over 5,000,000.
