Changes for Bowey

James Bowey open-shoved for 62,500, and in the hijack Nicolas Chouity reshoved for over 400,000 - the button and both blinds at his table all being short-stacked. Everyone folded, and Bowey and Chouity were on their backs.

Chouity: {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}
Bowey: in terrible shape with {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts}, and even worse come the flop...

Flop: {5-Spades} {K-Clubs} {2-Clubs}

Turn: bink! {10-Spades}

River: {K-Spades}

Bowey somehow managed to pull a double-up out of thin air, and stayed in the game with 130,000.

Hairabedian Takes One

Matt Perrins raised to 12,500 from the highjack, and Melanie Weisner asked him how much he had. The answer was about 700,000, which surprised her. "Oh. Wow. Nice," she said, calling on the button. The big blind, Roger Hairabedian, also came along.

Flop: {J-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {2-Hearts} - Hairabedian bet out 17,000, and both Perrins and Weisner both called.

Turn: {3-Clubs} - Hairabedian fired another 28,500, which was enough to push Weisner out of the pot.

River: {2-Clubs} - Interesting river card. Hairabedian made a 35,000 value bet, and Perrins acted like he had no choice but to call. Roger showed {6-Hearts} {5-Clubs} for the turned straight, and that was enough for the pot.

Sesso Almost On A Million

Peter Jetten raised preflop to 15,000 from the hijack and David Sesso made the call from the button.

The flop came {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {7-Clubs} and Jetten checked. Sesso bet 56,000 and Jetten check-raised all-in for about 200,000 total, Sesso made the call.

Jetten: {A-Spades} {10-Diamonds}
Sesso: {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and the river was the {3-Clubs}, Jetten was eliminated, Sesso up to 970,000.

Schulman Throws His Weight Around

Nick Schulman opened to 14,500 from early position, and El Mostafa Bel Khayate called out of the small blind. [Removed:39] made it 50,000 total from the big blind, and after assessing Berendsen's stack, Schulman called. The small blind quickly folded.

The flop came {Q-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {8-Spades}. Berendsen checked, Schulman bet 65,000, and Berendsen surrendered, all in a few seconds.

Frosty Olive

Going past the tournament area, we've just noticed that Laurent Olive has a small box of Frosties protruding from his hoodie pocket.

We're guessing that either:

A) Olive has not yet eaten today.

or

B) He just really, really likes Frosties.

Wigg Fails to Kling On

Josef Klinger raised from the button and then shoved to a reraise from big blind Anton Wigg. Wigg insta-called all in and they were on their backs.

Wigg: {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}
Klinger: {7-Clubs} {7-Spades}

Board: {J-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {7-Hearts}

Although the flop had been a bit of a tease, the river was as no-nonsense as you can get, and the EPT Copenhagen champ hit the rail.
