How Many Engraved Plates on WPT Trophy? Guess for Chance to Win a $5M Freeroll Seat
The PokerNews Podcast has already awarded two seats into the upcoming $5,000,000 ClubWPT Gold Invitational Freeroll, and now we’re giving you a shot at a third simply by offering a guess to this trivia question – how many engraved plates are on the WPT Mike Sexton Champion’s Cup?
In order to win you must be signed up for ClubWPT Gold. If you’re not already, you can do so for FREE by clicking here. It only takes a few minutes and be sure to use code “PNPOD”. The contest is open to eligible US & Canada listeners now through Tuesday, Nov. 26 (the winner will announced on Friday, Nov. 29 episode of the podcast).
Official Trivia Question – How many engraved plates are on the WPT Mike Sexton Champion’s Cup as of Friday, Nov. 15?
You only get one guess at it, and you can either email your answer to [email protected], submit it on X / Instagram using #PNPod, or comment on our official Facebook post. All those who get it right will be entered into a random drawing to determine one winner. If no one guesses correctly, the winner will be whoever was the closest without going over. If multiple people have that guess, then a random draw will occur.
Hint: It’s not as simple as counting every WPT winner. Remember, it's every engraved plate on the trophy, plus there are some other factors to consider such as whether or not recent winners from this season have been added, if certain invitational winners over the years have been included, etc.
The exclusive Freeroll event, which is limited to 2,000 seats, will take place Dec. 13-15 at the WPT World Championship, a festival running Dec. 3-23 at Wynn Las Vegas. Not everyone in poker will get a shot to compete in the historic freeroll. Only those who are invited or win a seat can get in on the juicy action, and the latest opportunity comes via the PokerNews Podcast.
