ClubWPT Gold Hosting a $5 Million Freeroll Satellite Weekend
The World Poker Tour (WPT) is hosting a $5 million freeroll — the largest in poker history — next month at Wynn Las Vegas, and poker players everywhere will have a chance to earn a seat.
ClubWPT Gold, the WPT's newest online poker platform, is going to run a freeroll satellite frenzy weekend Nov. 16 and 17, and there will be 30 seats awarded to the 2,000-seat invitational at Wynn.
How to Get a Piece of the Pie
Wynn is going to be the spot for a historic freeroll, but not everyone in poker will get a shot to compete for the seven-figure prize pool. Only those who are invited or win a seat can get in on the juicy action, and it starts with ClubWPT Gold next weekend.
The first step to winning a seat is to log into your ClubWPT Gold account on Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. ET or 4:00 p.m. ET the following day. All players who finish in the top 15 of the separate satellites will earn a Passport into the $5 million ClubWPT Gold Invitational Freeroll, which takes place Dec. 13-15 during the WPT World Championship festival.
Only ClubWPT Gold Diamond members can enter the Nov. 16 satellite, and Diamond and VIP players are eligible for the second satellite. There are some other rules that interested players must be aware of, including signing up for a free account on the poker platform by midnight ET on Nov. 13 and using the promo code "CLUBWPT."
The email address you used to register at ClubWPTGold.com has to be an exact match to the email address on your ClubWPT.com account. If you've already used that promo code, as long as you have an active VIP or Diamond account between Nov. 13-17, you'll be automatically entered into their respective satellite.
Players should look for the ClubWPT Gold $5M Invitational Freeroll Passport Qualifier to register for the satellites. A $5 million freeroll Passport includes a seat in the historic tournament at Wynn Las Vegas, official ClubWPT Gold branded merchandise, and private access to the exclusive ClubWPT Gold lounge at Wynn during the event.
