The World Poker Tour's record-setting series at the Wynn will kick off with another edition of the WPT Premier Meet-Up Game according to the company's CEO.
“With such a positive reception last year, we are pleased to once again offer the Premier Meet-Up game as our grand opening activity,” stated Adam Pliska told the press. “The WPT ambassadors will be out in full force to welcome players to the World Championship festival.”
At the Premier MUG, players will be able to mix with poker notables like Matt Savage, Vince Van Patten and Lynn Gilmartin.
Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme are set to host, and even Phil Ivey has been corralled into putting in an appearance.
The 2022 edition also featured an appearance from the late-Doyle Brunson. In memory of his poker legend, Doyle's son Todd Brunson will be attending and the WPT is putting on a ten-deuce promotion.

How To Join The Action
The Premier MUG game is set to open festivities for the WPT World Championship. The first tables will open in the Wynn Las Vegas's poker room on December 1.
Brad Owen described his goal when creating the event as establishing "a fun, non-intimidating atmosphere and experience,” adding that he hoped "everyone who missed out last year is able to make it this time around.”
If you want to play, all you have to do is turn up at the Wynn anytime between the event's start at 9:00 a.m. local time and its end at 1 p.m to grab a seat or join the waiting list.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, but with all 28 cash game tables at the Wynn reserved for the event, there should be plenty of room if you get there early.
The tables are set to play as no limit holdem and pot limit Omaha cash games. The stakes will be $1-$3 and $2-$5, making the events eminently affordable.
