On Thursday, the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship kicked off its stop at Wynn Las Vegas with the Premier Meet-Up Game!

The MUG was attended by a long list of poker luminaries including Patrik Antonius, Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, DJ Steve Aoki, Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage, Vince Van Patten, Tony Dunst, Ashley "PokerFace Ash" Frank, and Phil Hellmuth (who actually only showed up for the afterparty).

The MUG got underway at 8 a.m. and consisted of 26 tables running $1/$3 & $2/$5 no-limit Hold'em and pot-limit Omaha games in the luxurious Wynn Poker Room.

The WPT ran a promotion during the MUG that gave out four $10,400 WPT World Championship seats to those who qualified. To do so, a player who entered an all-in and call with a WPT Ambassador or Talent member entered a raffle to win a seat.

Among the masses were some familiar poker personalities such as Jaman Burton, Nathan Gamble, Kathy Liebert, and Ryan Laplante.

One of the four seats into the WPT World Championship went to Katrina Weaver, who according to a report from Jeff Walsh earned an entry after she mixed it up with Ivey. She held the queen-ten of diamonds and was up against Ivey’s pocket deuces. Weaver made a straight by the river, earned a ticket, and was later selected in the raffle for one of the $10,400 seats!
