On the ninth day of the XL Eclipse Series on 888poker, players could compete in three new tournaments with the XL Eclipse #25 - $25,000 Knockout as the highlight of the day. The $35 buy-in Mini edition and a $75 buy-in Late edition started as well. Let's take a look at the results.

At 20:00 GMT, the XL Eclipse #25 - $25,000 Knockout kicked off. After late registration closed, there were 203 registered players resulting in a total prize pool of $33,323 with $5,375 reserved for the winner. More than six hours were played before they crowned a champion.
Nine players made the final table, securing themselves of $500. "GiNgErSpEw" (ninth, $541) "summuNNN" (eighth, $791), "playboy1983" (seventh, $1,164), "Kotyara1089" (sixth, $1,291), "TripleDeke" (fifth, $1,500) were eliminated in quick succession. After that, "sslazio16" (fourth, $2,721) missed out on the final three players who made a deal.
They all received an amount of around $4,400 but it was "MrDrogo" from Romania who won the event for $4,435. Runner-up "vezun_4ik" had to settle for second place ($4,405) third-placed finisher "ojfever" received $4,434 in his account.

For the players who didn't have the bankroll to play the $150 event, or wanted to multi-table, there was also a Mini edition with a buy-in of just $35. In total, 570 players competed in this event which made for a $19,275 prize pool with the first prize just over $2,835.
In the end, "sslazio" (fourth, $1,268) and "benzzzen" (third, $1,560) were eliminated from the final table. The final two players received at least over $2,000. "ScorpionAJ" lost the final heads-up and ended in second place for $2,101. The tournament was won by Germany's "Showdown13" for $2,951.
