After over eight hours of play, the XL Inferno #22 - $75,000 Quarterback, crowned a winner. "PBD03" from Canada claimed the first-place prize of $14,890 after defeating "KimberSlice" in heads-up play.

The event had 313 players register with 287 rebuys for a total of 600 total entries. They created a prize pool of $76,950 with 45 places getting paid. "Pimmelspeck" from Germany finished on the bubble and was the last player unable to break into the money.

After several hours of play, the tournament dwindled down to nine players who made for the official final table. In quick succession, the tournament lost "IBetUfold_x" (ninth, $1,347) and the two Russian finalists: "EmmaLynx" (eight, $1,847) and "MAMOHT_T" (seventh, $2,616).

With six players left, the tension rose. Romanian "Ph4N888" couldn't stand the heat and finished in sixth place for $3,386.

The last German standing, "HomoDeus", didn't stay much longer and had to settle for fifth place and a prize of $4,386. Former winner "eltxupacabra" was chasing his or her second title of the week, but just fell short finishing in fourth place for $6,348.

The remaining three players were all guaranteed at least $8,465, but with one more jump they would get at least a five-figure score. Johannes "TrollKonst8" Korsar was the final player who missed out on the heads up and ended in third place for $8,465.

The final two players, "KimberSlice" and "PBD03" didn't make a deal and played for it all. In the end, Canada's "PBD03" got the victory and the first prize of $14,890. Runner-up "KimberSlice" just missed the title and had to settle for second place ($11,158).
