On the tenth day of the XL Inferno Series on 888poker, players could compete in three new tournaments, with the XL Inferno #28 - $50,000 6-Max as the highlight of the day. The $30 buy-in Mini edition and a $55 buy-in Late edition started as well.
The Main Event with a guarantee of $1,000,000 starts tonight, at 8 p.m. GMT. Playing in this event will cost you $1,050, but there are still plenty of opportunities to get in cheaper. The $150,000 guaranteed Mini Main starts at 8 o'clock as well and will cost you $160 to enter. The $30 Micro Main starts thirty minutes later and has a guarantee of $50,000.

XL Inferno #28 - $50,000 6-Max

At 20:00 GMT, the XL Inferno #28 started with 258 players. During the first hours, players rebought 168 times, creating a total prize pool of $63,900. For the winner, there was the first prize waiting of $14,697 and a ticket for the Champion of Champions event next week.
After several hours of play, it was Brazilian player "joaogg" who finished the tournament in 31st place. That meant the Brazilian was the bubble and with that, the other players were guaranteed at least $511. On the final table, each player was guaranteed $2,620, the amount that was received by sixth-place finisher "LeoFerran".
Not much later, three Germans left the tournament in quick succession: "allesrigged" (fifth, $3,834), "POKERPRO2.0" (fourth, $5,112) and "Charlymogo" (third, $7,668) all couldn't seal the deal.
The final heads-up was between Sweden's "Mrpiink" and Morocco's "TankeVicius". It was the Swede who took down the title and the first prize of $14,697. The runner-up received $10,224.

XL Inferno #29 - $20,000 Mini 6-Max

For those players who weren't able to buy in for the 'big' event, there was a $30 Mini 6-Max on the schedule. In total, 707 players paid their buy-in for this event. That meant the guaranteed prize pool of $20,000 wasn't reached so there was a small overlay for 888poker.
After Malta's "joaof6" was eliminated on the bubble, the tournament went on to the final table in just a few hours. Canada's "omgjefmonier" missed the final table and finished in seventh place for $420.
"Csabicsekk" (sixth, $680), "Luegenlord2" (fifth, $1,060), "excepsion7" (fourth, $1,480) and "tyalot30" (third, $2,150) all missed out on the deciding heads-up.
"PhoenixRuffy" and "resilience32" made the final two and after an exciting heads-up, it was the latter mentioned who took down this event for $3,870. The Austrian runner-up received $2,870.

XL Inferno #30 - $15,000 Late 6-Max

A late winner was crowned in the XL Inferno #30 - $15,000 Late 6-Max. This event attracted 314 players to create a prize pool of $16,200. Each finalist guaranteed themselves of $664 while the winner could win up to $3,726.
After "LeoFerran" departed in seventh place ($462), the players were moved to the official final table. "HappySh00ter" (sixth, $664), "adebisi5" (fifth, $972) and "josef_shvejk" (fourth, $1,296) were eliminated in quick sucession, before "Jesusisback" ended in third place for $1,944 and missed a shot at an XL Inferno title.
That title went to Romania, after "ilovefish888" defeated "acezzkingzzz" in the deciding heads-up. The Romanian received $3,726 while the Brit had to settle for $2,592.

XL Inferno Promotions
While your focus is likely to be on the various XL Inferno tournaments, you should not forget about the ongoing XL Inferno promotions that could yield some serious value.
