At 8 p.m. GMT, the XL Blizzard #19 - $40,000 8-Max started with each player receiving a massive 15,000 starting stack. After the late registration closed, there were 619 players. That made for a prize pool of $61,900, with a first-place prize of $11,761

After several hours, the tournament reached the final table. "alexxv14" and "pokanuktus" busted in eighth and seventh place, receiving $1,238 and $1,548 respectively.

"Palyaaa" from Finland finished in sixth place for $2,167 and "Philgreen111" got $3,095 for his or her fifth place. Russia's "blowjob1987" received $4,643 after busting in fourth place and Romanian "AlinGabrielG" ended up in third place for $6,500.

The final heads-up between Brazil's Bernardo "bsdias" Dias (lead photo) and Malta's "PazzoRJ" was won by the latter who secured $11,761. The runner-up had to settle for $8,666.

This tournament had a buy-in of just $12, and there were 2,120 players competing for a prize pool of $22,018. The final table was top heavy with all eight finalists in this tournament securing themselves of $220 while the top prize was $3,963.

That prize went to United Kingdom's "JohnJones34" after beating "Jpvasc" from Brazil in the deciding heads-up. The Brazilian runner-up received $2,862.
