partypoker Enhances Software, More than Doubles Guaranteed Schedule
partypoker rolled out a software update on Saturday, Feb. 24 with many enhancements to improve the experience of its players.
One major aspect players will notice is the re-introduction of an oval-shaped table. While this will prove to be popular with many of its players, the legacy table design is still available for players to use if they prefer.
Another cool feature is that the name plates now feature a larger font. This should prove helpful for players that multi-table so they can process who their opponents are quicker.
Player notes are now enhanced with color-coding appearing over the entire name plate making it easier to see. In addition, the time-bank button has been revamped giving it a fresh new look and feel.
These are just some of the new features as there are several more enhancements to improve the experience of customers playing at partypoker tables. Some features to come in future updates include bubble chat, the option to show a table in full-screen mode, and an option for players to see stack sizes in big blinds.
Feedback on the changes from members of the poker community has been mostly positive.
Weekly Guarantees Increase from $4 Million to $10 Million
The software changes aren't the only big changes taking place at partypoker. The online poker room has increased its weekly guarantees by a whopping 250 percent, from $4 million to $10 million in prize pools each and every week.
In addition, the site will be hosting the biggest online tournament in history, the $5,300 Online MILLIONS with a mouth-watering $20 million guaranteed prize pool.
