Jacob Chen - Eliminated ($1,085)

Jacob Chen - Eliminated
Jacob Chen - Eliminated
Jacob Chen moved the last of his chips into the middle, about 30,000 total. Tony Bromham shoved all in over the top for about 35,000 total. Sam Khouiss open-folded pocket tens and pointed to Bromham, "I can't call with him in there."

Showdown:
Bromham: {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}
Chen: {9-Clubs} {6-Clubs}

The board ran out {J-Hearts} {10-Spades} {5-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}, causing Khouiss to nearly lose it when he saw that he would have made a full house and could possibly have eliminated two players. Chen was eliminated on the hand, with Bromham's ace high holding up.

"Why'd you have to shove then?" Khouiss questioned Chen as he paced back and forth behind his chair. "I can't call with two of them in there, I can't call."

Bromham now has around 70,000 chips and four players remain at the table.

Jurcic Doubles Through Khouiss

Josh Jurcic moved all in from the button and Sam Khouiss made the call in the big blind.

Jurcic: {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Khouiss: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The board fell {A-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and Jurcic spiked a jack on the river to double up to 70,000. Khouiss is down to 30,000 and in a foul mood after that river!

Huntly Bubbles the Final Table ($2,170)

Dennis Huntly

Reza Vakili opened the pot with a raise to 15,000 from the button and when the action fell to Dennis Huntly in the small blind, he moved all in for a total of 35,000. Vakili made the call, saying, "Back to the drawing board," as he turned over the {7-Spades} {4-Spades}. Huntly tabled {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs} and the two were left at the mercy of the community cards.

The {K-Hearts} {K-Spades} {4-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {K-Clubs} board followed, giving Vakili a full house and putting an abrupt end to Huntly's final table hopes, though he'll pick up AUD $2,170 for his efforts.

Huntly's elimination killed the game on Table 30, clinching Vakili and Andre Andrade spots at tomorrow's final table.

Doubling Bromham

Tony Bromham
Tony Bromham
Jacob Chen raised to 10,000 under the gun, and Tony Bromham moved all in for 26,000 from the button. Sam Khouiss seemed particularly agitated about making a tight fold as he laid down his cards. When it came around to Chen, he tanked for a couple of minutes before putting in the call.

Showdown:
Chen: {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}
Bromham: {K-Spades} {Q-Spades}

Khouiss grew even more flustered as he announced that he had mucked two sixes, and he was sure it was going to hold up. Right he was. The board ran {A-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {4-Clubs}. Bromham's king kicker played, and he doubled up to 44,000, while Chen was set back to 54,000.

Roy Vandersluis - Eliminated ($1,628)

Roy Vandersluis raised to 12,000 from the button and action folded around to Reza Vakili in the big blind. Vakili elected to reraise, making it 41,000 to go. Vandersluis moved all in and Vakili quickly called. This was a massive pot for over 200,000 chips.

Showdown:
Vandersluis: {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}
Vakili: {A-Spades} {10-Diamonds}

The flop came down {K-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {4-Clubs}, giving Vandersluis top pair, top kicker and leaving Vakili with a gutshot straight draw.

The turn was the {4-Spades}, pairing the board, and then the river was the {J-Spades}, completing the straight for Vakili. When Vandersluis had moved all in, he slid four tall towers of chips into the middle and because of their positioning on the table, didn't see the jack on the river. He thought he had won the hand, but then realized he lost to a sick beat when he stood up.

"Wow, that is so sick!" said Vakili. "So sick! I'm so sorry Roy."

Vakili now has a giant wall of chips totaling 240,000 with three players left on his table.

All-In Andrade

Andre Andrade mvoed all in for 31,000 total, and Reza Vakili made the call with his big stack. He turned over {K-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}, and was dominated by the {A-Clubs} {5-Spades} of the all-in Andrade. Things were good for Andrade as the community cards came {A-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {4-Spades} {4-Clubs} {2-Spades}, earning him a double up to 60,000. Vakili loses a chunk, but is still sitting pretty with 205,000.

Chen Doubles Through Kambouris

A short-stacked Jacob Chen moved all in from under the gun and the action folded to Sam Khouiss in the small blind, who asked for a count. It was 28,000 and Khouiss anguished over whether he wanted to race before tossing his cards into the muck. It was then with Antonis Kambouris in the big blind, and with plenty of gambling chips behind him he made the call.

Chen: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Kambouris: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and Chen doubled to 60,000 with Kambouris still in fine shape with 120,000. Sam Khouiss cringed, saying that he folded pocket sevens.

Kinkade Doubles Through Montalto

Jay Kinkade has just doubled through Vito Montalto to replenish the stack that Montalto had taken from him a few hands earlier.

Kinkade open-shoved all in from the button for approximately 40,000 in chips and Montalto made the call from the big blind with {K-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}; Kinkade tabled {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds}.

The {A-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} board ran out in favor of Kinkade who won the pot with a single pair of aces.

Afterward, Montalto dropped to 58,000 in chips while Kinkade improved to 80,000.
