Have you ever been at a poker table, and someone says something like "So, this Ribbon Clerk Gypsies in, and I." You are thinking to yourself "What on earth is this guy talking about".

Poker is full of strange words and expressions that insiders use, and it's sometimes embarrassing to admit that you don't always know what they mean.

So we decided to collect as many of them as we could - and try to explain them.

We're up to 845 poker terms so far, but we know there are more out there. Would you help us by adding any that you have come across? If you know their meaning, please add that in as few words as possible. If you don't, we'll find out for you. Send them to us.
