Boatman Sends Kim Deep in the Tank

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Namhyung Kim raised to 40,000 in the hijack and was called by Bruno Stefanelli and Barny Boatman from the blinds.

The flop came 5K2 and action checked to Kim who bet 70,000. Stefanelli quickly folded as action went on Boatman.

Boatman then raised to 235,000 and Kim began covering his mouth with his hoodie as he went into the tank. He kept this position for several minutes until he checked his cards and mucked.

Boatman let out a pretend fist pump and Kim could only laugh as Boatman padded his chip lead.

Pansier Doubles Through Eldabach

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

With the flop showing 974, Nino Pansier had checked out of the big blind and Dorel Eldabach bet 50,000 on the button. What followed was the pot-sized check-raise by Pansier and Eldabach studied his cards twice before tossing in a single chip.

"Oh it was not all-in?" Eldabach inquired when the dealer pointed out Pansier's raising amount.

Both however agreed to just get it in anyways with Pansier at risk.

Nino Pansier: 7642
Dorel Eldabach: 6543

Eldabach had straight outs already and the 2 turn increased the equity of the PLO high-stakes cash game player. However, the Q river was a brick and Pansier doubled for 267,000.

"Not quite," Eljach replied.

"Against Omar, it's more like 20-80," tablemate Quirin Zech joked.
