Howington Gets a Shove Through

Level 32 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Scottie Howington had lost two pots to drop below ten blinds and then found the QQ to raise it up to 360,000. Alfredo Vega Meister called in the big blind with J10 and spiked a gutshot on the 873 flop.

Vega Meister pondered about his move and checked. Howington jammed for the size of the pot and Vega Meister folded to get shown the overpair.

Frank Leykauf Eliminated in 21st Place (€3,700)

Level 32 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Frank Leykauf

What started with a battle of the blinds with an open raise to 370,000 by Frank Leykauf would turn into a lengthy hand as Stanislav Koleno stuck around in the big blind.

Leykauf bet the AK10 flop for 340,000 and Koleno called before the former checked the 4 turn. Koleno bet 550,000 and Leykauf reluctantly called.

After the 5 river, Leykauf checked and Koleno bet 2,000,000 for most of his stack. That sent Leykauf into agony and he tanked for four minutes before he tossed in a single chip for the call.

Koleno tabled the Q5 for a flush and Leykauf's K3 were shown before his stack was counted. Leykauf only had 1,950,000 at his disposal and was thus eliminated in 21st place.

Emil Bise faced an open-shove by Alessandro De Michele, who put his last 1,790,000 on the line for slightly more than eleven blinds.

Bise tanked for two minutes and folded the AJ. De Michele nodded, said "you are good" as he exposed his AQ.

Soon after that, Bise raised and folded to a shove by De Michele, flashing the A.

Roland Schweinstetter opened to 260,000 on the button and Iman Ghashayar defended in the big blind to see the 28J flop.

Schweinstetter then moved all in for around 850,000 on the K river and Ghashayar went into the tank. After taking a few minutes, Ghashayar slid his cards into the muck.

Schweinstetter took down the pot, showing a grin and letting out a sigh of relief while adding to his stack.

De Michele Risks It All

Level 31 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Action folded around to Mikkel Plum in the small blind, who asked for a count of Alessandro De Michele's in the big blind. Once the answer was given, Plum elected just to call and De Michele checked his option.

Plum led out for 150,000 on the 3JK flop, only to see De Michele move all in.

Plum mucked his hand, as De Michele took down the blind versus blind pot.
