Scottie Howington got through with a three-bet shove holding pocket nines and then found another pocket pair to make it 500,000 to go. Stephan Glausch jammed with the superior stack in the small blind and Howington called for the 2,200,000 he had behind.

The Q♣9♦6♠ flop vaulted Glausch into the lead and left Howington on the ropes. He gained a lot of equity with the 7♠ turn but the 3♠ river was a blank to reduce the field to the last 16 players.

Stefan Drusca open-jammed withe 10♠6♣ out of the small blind and Marcin Kacprzak called in the big blind with the A♥7♦ for his last 920,000 behind.

The J♦9♦5♦ flop kept Kacprzak ahead and so did the 7♥ turn. However, the 10♥ river improved Drusca and knocked out his opponent in 18th place for €3,700.

Florin Bilan opened to 320,000 in middle position and Emil Bise defended his big bling to see the 7♦4♠K♣ flop.

Bise checked to Bilan, who continued for 175,000. Bise then slid out a raise to 555,000.

Bilan took some time before making another raise, this time to 1,375,000. Bise did not take long to muck his hand, as Bilan took down a sizeable pot.

Schweinstetter Catches Koleno

After an open and call, Stanislav Koleno continued on the button for 200,000 after the 3♠Q♥2♠ flop. Roland Schweinstetter check-called in the big blind to the J♦ turn.

Schweinstetter checked again and called when Koleno fired 550,000 into the middle. The K♦ river saw Schweinstetter check one last time before Koleno bet enough to put his opponent all in.

Schweinstetter called instantly, showing K♥Q♣ for two pair. Koleno turned over A♠7♠ for a missed flush draw, as a good portion of his stack slid to the left.

Glausch Turns a Flush Against Vega Meister

Alfredo Vega Meister picked up the K♠K♥ and raised from under the gun, Stephan Glausch called with the 6♣4♣ in the big blind. On the A♣10♥3♣ flop, Glausch checked and subsequently called a bet of 250,000 by Vega Meister.

The 9♣ turn was checked through and Glausch bet the Q♠ river for 1,000,000 with fewer than that behind. Vega Meister gave it some thought and folded, flashing his cards to Stefan Drusca.
