Rifat Palevic raised it up to 155,000 in the hijack with {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and Anthony Zinno defended from the big blind with {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}. The flop came {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {9-Hearts} on the turn.

Two more checks and the {9-Clubs} completed the board. Zinno checked for the third time and Palevic dropped in a bet of 265,000 with his quads. Zinno thought for a couple of minutes and eventually paid off the bet.

Segebrecht's Check-Raise Takes It

Christian Rudolph raised to 125,000 from the button and Claas Segebrecht called from the small blind.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Segebrecht checked. Rudolph bet 225,000 and Segebrecht check-called. The dealer burned and turned the {q-Spades} and Segebrecht checked once more. Rudolph continued with a bet of 275,000 and this tme, Segebrecht check-raised to 750,000. Rudolph took a few seconds of reflection, then let it go.

Zinno's Four-Bet Takes the Pot

Anthony Zinno opened to 150,000 from under the gun with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Alexandros Kolonias called on the button with {a-Spades}{3-Spades}. Julien Martini woke up with {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} in the small blind and made it 730,000 to go.

The action was back on Zinno who slid out a four-bet to 1,550,000 which got a quick fold from Kolonias. Martini eyed up Zinno from a couple of seats over for a couple of minutes. The two engaged in some table talk but Martini finally found the fold button.

Kolonias Forces the Best Hand Out

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The action folded to Rifat Palevic in the small blind who made it 200,000 to go with {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Alexandros Kolonias called from the big blind with {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and the dealer fanned the flop of {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Palevic checked and Kolonias tapped the table as well.

The {9-Clubs} landed on the turn and Palevic fired out a small bet of 120,000. Kolonias raised to 475,000 with complete air and Palevic dipped into the tank. He thought for a couple of minutes and eventually tossed the best hand into the muck.

Baker Doubles Through Sammartino

Dario Sammartino raised the cutoff to 135,000 and David "ODB" Baker three-bet to 430,000 in the small blind.

As Sammartino eyeballed the stack of his opponent, Baker added "1.8 behind" and Sammartino nodded, then tossed in calling chips.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Baker made it 300,000 to go, Sammartino made the call.

After the {5-Clubs} turn, Baker fired a second barrel for 500,000 and had 975,000 behind. Sammartino moved all in and Baker almost beat him into the pot.

However, in a hand that he was a big favorite to double up again, he suffered a bad beat when he shoved from the button after Christian Rudolph's open first to act. The rest of the table folded and Rudolph called for the most classic cooler of poker.

Konopka Doubles One More Time Against Nuutinen
