Miegel Gets a Fold; Bicknell Bets Big

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Just before the break, Alex Lindop raised to 1,500 from mid-position, Aymon Hata three-bet to 5,100 from the button. Kristen Bicknell was sitting in the big blind and might have been feeling the effects of the skittlebombs as she four-bet to 95,600. Lindop folded and Hata was sitting in the tank. Lots of chatter went back and forth over the whole table as Hata was trying to figure out what he should do. After a while, Hata folded. Hata could choose one of the cards to see, as the whole table has been doing over the past hour(s) or so, and selected the left card which was the {a-Hearts}.

Over on the other table, Jakob Miegel raised to 2,000 from the button and Netanel Amedi defended his big blind. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{a-Spades}, they both checked to see the {8-Clubs} fall on the turn. Amedi check-called the 4,500 bet of Miegel. The river completed the board with the {7-Spades} and Amedi now check-folded to the 20,000 bet of Miegel.

Small Pot to Obreshkov

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

It folded to Ole Schemion and he raised to 1,700 from the button. Small blind Stoyan Obreshkov raised to 7,000 and Schemion called after the player in the big blind folded.

The flop came down {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Obreshkov continued with a bet of 4,000.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and both Obreshkov and Schemion checked this time and they saw the {Q-Diamonds} river come off the deck.

Obreshkov threw in a 25,000 chip and announced a bet size a bit smaller, but Schemion folded hand.

The Fun Table

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Table #87 is probably one of the loudest and most talkative tables in the tournament room among all of the tournaments that are currently running here at the King's Resort and definitely of the Main Event.

The skittlebombs have been ordered already and the instigator is most likely Niall Farrell,. Almost all players on the table have been joking around with each other and chatting constantly during and in between hands.

Markus Kuhnen raised to 1,400 from under the gun and was called by Alex Lindop in the cutoff.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and they both checked through it to the {j-Spades} on the turn. They also checked through that card to see the {2-Hearts} come on the river. Kuhnen checked, Lindop bet 4,400 and Kuhnen called but then mucked when Lindop flipped over {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

Cho Busts Merzhvinskiy

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Aleksandr Merzhvinskiy
Aleksandr Merzhvinskiy

Jeonggyu Cho limped from the hijack and button Aleksandr Merzhvinskiy raised to 2,700. The blinds both folded and Cho called.

The flop came down {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Cho opted to lead out with a bet of 6,500. Merzhvinskiy moved all in for a bit over 40,000 and Cho called.

Jeonggyu Cho: {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Aleksandr Merzhvinskiy: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The dealer then burned and turned the {7-Hearts} and the {J-Diamonds} river card. Merzhvinskiy wasn't able to take over the lead and Cho sent him to the rail, adding more chips to his already impressive chip stack.
