Clements Forces Out Mio With Same Hand

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Tommy Le raised to 250,000 and Chris Lee called in the big blind. On the {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop, both players checked and did so again on the {4-Hearts} turn. On the {6-Spades} river, Lee bet 400,000 and Le folded.

Hani Mio limped in and Scott Clements did so from the cutoff. Lee called in the small blind and Jason DeWitt checked in the big blind. On the {Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, Mio bet 300,000 and Clements called. The {9-Spades} turn saw a check by Mio and Clements bet 600,000.

"Okay, you got it," Mio said and folded his {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for two pairs face up. Clements showed {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for queens and nines as well and raked in the pot.

Mio raised to 200,000 from the small blind soon after and Le called in the big blind, but quickly folded the {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop to a continuation bet by Mio.

Last but not least, Mio limped the button and Le called in the small blind, Clements checked the big blind. On the {9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Clements bet 200,000 and Mio was the only caller. The {K-Hearts} turn was checked and Clements check-folded the {9-Diamonds} river to a bet worth 350,000, adding, "I should have bet the turn."

Lee takes on DeWitt

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Chris Lee and Jason DeWitt are among the shorter stacks between 20 big blinds and just got involved in a three-way limped pot. Lee limped the button, DeWitt filled up from the small blind, and Mio checked in the big blind.

The {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop was checked and DeWitt bet the {K-Spades} turn for 200,000. Mio folded and Lee called to see the {8-Diamonds} appear on the river. DeWitt now checked and Lee claimed the pot uncontested with a bet of 400,000.

Lee Gives Up Two Pots

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Chris Lee raised to 300,000 and Hani Mio called on the button, as did Scott Clements in the big blind. The flop fell {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Clements bet the pot for 950,000 in order to force two folds.

"I almost potted pre," Clements said, and added "I had four-five-six-seven."

One hand later, Lee raised to 300,000 again and Mio called in the cutoff. On the {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop, Lee checked and folded after Mio bet 750,000.

Le Gets There on the River to Double

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante
Tommy Le
Tommy Le

Jason DeWitt limped from the button and Tommy Le checked his option on the big blind. On the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} flop, Le checked and DeWitt bet 150,000. Le check-raised to 700,000 and DeWitt reraised the pot to see Le call all in for his last 780,000.

Le: {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a king-high straight and flush draw
DeWitt: {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for the ace-high straight

The {7-Diamonds} river didn't change anything, but Le spiked the {6-Hearts} on the river to improve to a flush.

Clements Takes from Lee

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Scott Clements raised to 275,000 and Chris Lee defended his big blind. On the {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, Lee checked and called a bet of 250,000 by Clements. The {J-Diamonds} turn and the {J-Hearts} river were checked and Lee turned over {Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Clements had that beat with {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a flush and won the pot.
