Bonomo Survives an All-In

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hal Rotholz bet fourth street with {6-Spades}{a-Hearts} against two opponents, and Ernest Bohn picked up three to a wheel with {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} on fifth and bet. Justin Bonomo raised with {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, leaving Rotholz facing two bets. He called, as did Bohn, and Bonomo got his remaining 24,000 in on sixth.

Bonomo: {x-}{x-}/{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Rotholz: {x-}{x-}/{6-Spades}{a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Bohn: {x-}{x-}/{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Both Rotholz and Bohn called, and Bohn put in a final bet to create a side pot on the end. Rotholz called. Bonomo showed {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for kings and sevens on the high half, and Bohn had {7-}{6-}{3-} for a seven-low. Rotholz had just a pair of aces and mucked.

Huge Scoop for Kohler

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Three raggedy boards went to battle between Justin Bonomo, Bill Kohler, and Tim Finne. Kohler was the aggressor the whole way, betting fourth through seventh streets.

Bonomo: {x-}{x-}/{7-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Clubs}/{x-} (folded on seventh street)
Kohler: {x-}{x-}/{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}/{x-}
Finne: {x-}{x-}/{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Clubs}/{x-}

Finne called the final bet, but Bonomo quickly mucked. Kohler announced aces up and tabled {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for aces and eights, scooping the pot.

Bohn Wins a Four-Way Pot

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Bill Kohler called, Ernest Bohn followed suit, and Justin Bonomo completed. Bring-in Max Pescatori joined, along with Kohler and Bohn.

Kohler was first to act on fourth since he paired his eights. He led out and couldn't get rid of anyone. "I have no respect," he said.

The whole quartet checked on fifth street for a change, and Kohler double paired on sixth with his board reading eights and fours. He bet, forcing Bonomo out. Pescatori called with open queens, and Bohn called with open sevens.

Seventh street brought no additional betting.

Justin Bonomo: {X-}{X-} / {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{K-Clubs} (folded on sixth street)
Max Pescatori: {X-}{X-} / {4-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} / {X-}
Bill Kohler: {X-}{X-} / {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} / {X-}
Ernest Bohn: {X-}{X-} / {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} / {X-}

Bohn showed {A-}{2-}{5-} for the two exposed pairs, but Bohn had {9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} in the hole for nines up. Pescatori didn't catch anything to add to his queens, and he conceded.

Bohn scooped a nice pot to soar to 1.25 million.

Bonomo Out of Danger Zone

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Justin Bonomo completed with the {3-Diamonds} and found himself against two opponents. Hal Rotholz picked up all high cards on his board and bet fourth and fifth, chasing Ernest Bohn away on the first big-bet street.

Bonomo: {x-}{x-}/{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Rotholz: {x-}{x-}/{k-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Bohn: {x-}{x-}/{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} (folded on fifth street)

Both players checked sixth after Bonomo picked up three to a wheel, and he bet seventh. Rotholz called, and Bonomo showed {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Spades} for a set of fours. Rotholz revealed what looked like two pair before mucking.

Bonomo Boomerangs Back

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

After losing a big pot to Ernest Bohn, Justin Bonomo responded the best way he could. He doubled through Bohn to seize back his chips.

Following a lot of fire on the previous streets, Bonomo was finally all in on sixth. Bohn called.

Justin Bonomo: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} / {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Ernest Bohn: {A-Spades}{2-Spades} / {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Bonomo had already made a seven-six low, but Bohn could still scoop the pot, drawing to a flush and a wheel. Bonomo hit a great card on the river, the {A-Hearts}. Bohn, on the other hand, received nothing but a brick, revealing the {J-Hearts}.

Bonomo in Bad Shape

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

On fourth street, Ernest Bohn bet into Justin Bonomo and another player with {4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, and Bonomo raised with {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. The third player mucked, and Bohn called. He called again on fifth street, and then Bonomo bet sixth.

Bonomo: {x-}{x-}/{a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Bohn: {x-}{x-}/{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{k-Spades}

This time, Bohn raised. Bonomo called, then called a final bet.

"Straight," Bohn announced, showing {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}. Bonomo mucked, leaving himself with just a couple big bets.

Finne's Threes Are Good

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Bill Kohler and Tim Finne tangled in a pot when their boards looked very entertaining. Finne kept getting hearts, while Kohler's exposed cards featured three clubs. Kohler bet on fourth street, and Finne took over the aggressive role for the following two streets. Both players eventually checked on seventh.

Bill Kohler: {X-}{X-} / {2-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} / {X-}
Tim Finne: {X-}{X-} / {3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{K-Hearts} / {X-}

Kohler mucked his hand, complaining about a missed draw. Finne didn't get much out of his promising board, either. He turned over {3-}{4-}{5-} for just a pair of threes. However, it was still enough for a scoop to help Finne cross 1,000,000 in chips.

Rotholz Scoops Finne

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

In one of the last hands at the previous level, Hal Rotholz bet fifth street, and Tim Finne raised with a couple of high cards on board. Rotholz called to see sixth.

Rotholz: {x-}{x-}/{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Finne: {x-}{x-}/{5-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Rotholz bet when he picked up a third club and a third low, and Finne called. Rotholz bet the end too, and Finne called. Rotholz showed {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for trip aces, and Rotholz couldn't beat it, saying it was sick because he got an ace on the river himself.

Kohler Scoops With River Bet

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 7,000 ante

Max Pescatori completed with the {6-Spades}, and Bill Kohler and Ernest Bohn called. All three players checked on fourth street. Pescatori added third low card to his board on fifth, and he bet out. Kohler and Bohn called before all players checked sixth street, where Kohler paired his queen.

Kohler led out on the river, forcing a quick fold from Bohn. It looked to be a chopped pot, as Kohler was ineligible for low while Pescatori had four low cards exposed. Pescatori's hole cards, however, couldn't fit for the low, and he mucked.
