Battenfield Survives to Double Up

Level 41 : Blinds 1,250,000/2,500,000, 2,500,000 ante

Christopher Battenfield shoved from the button for 27,700,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Jake Brown in the big blind who asked for a count before opting to make the call with the bigger stack.

Christopher Battenfield: AQAll in
Jake Brown: AJ

Brown requested for a jack but the board ran out 47354 for Battenfield to stay ahead and even make a flush to double up.

Some of the other players at the table mentioned the flush, and Brown responded: "I don't give a s**t, I didn't hit a jack!" He counted out the chips to pay up and then commented: "Nice hand though."

Amir Mirrasouli raised to 5,000,000 from the hijack and Jefferson James called from the small blind. Antonio Payne called for his last 3,550,000 from the big blind.

The flop came 1024. James check-folded to the 5,000,000 continuation-bet of Mirrasouli for the cards to go on their backs.

Antonio Payne: J10 All in

Payne was ahead with the flopped pair of tens and stayed there while the rest of the board was completed with the A on the turn and the 6 on the river.

"I'm not going anywhere; you can't get rid of me. I started with half a big blind. The story is growing!" he shouted out while he celebrated a bit with the rail before collecting his pot.

Mizzell Stays Alive and Triples Up

Level 41 : Blinds 1,250,000/2,500,000, 2,500,000 ante

Amir Mirrasouli raised to 6,000,000 from the middle position for Kyle Mizell to call for his last 5,125,000 from the hijack. Jake Brown asked how much the raise was and then called too from the big blind.

"I'll check in the dark," Brown commented for Mirrasouli to respond that he was going to do the same.

The dealer spread the 6AJ out on the flop and the 9 on the turn. They both checked again to see the 7 complete the board on the river. They both didn't bet for them to all reveal their cards.

Mirrasouli showed the QJ for the pair of jacks but Mizell held the A10 for top pair which was enough to beat Mirrasouli's jacks and the pocket fives Brown had.
