Rockets For Xu

Level 18 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Scott Seiver raised from under the gun to 12,000 and Nick Palma three-bet to 26,000 from the next seat. Gonzalo Almada was in middle position and cold-four-bet to 60,000. Hang Xu then five-bet from the big blind, which committed him to the pot, and Almada was the only one to put more chips in, which put Xu at risk.

No surprises came on the 35394 runout, which meant Xu earned himself a double-up.

Battle of the Blinds

Level 18 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action folded round to the hijack who limped along with Jeremy Ceille in the small blind. Robert Schulz in the big blind checked, taking the play three ways to the flop.

The 4K7 board got a check from Ceille. Schulz bet out 6,000 and the hijack folded. Ceille called the bet and it went heads up to the 10 turn.

Both players checked to a 2 river and Ceille checked again. Schulz bet 18,000 and Ceille gave up and folded. Ceille was still sitting with a sizeable stack after the hand, just slightly ahead of Schulz.
