From the button, Jeremy Ausmus raised to 280,000 with the A♥K♣. Daniel Strelitz was in the big blind with the A♦8♥ and thought for a while before he jammed and Ausmus snap-called.
Jeremy Ausmus: A♥K♣
Daniel Strelitz: A♦8♥
Ausmus was in great shape to double. The flop came 6♥4♣Q♣. The turn was the A♠ and the river came the J♣ to give him a nice double and to move all of the stacks closer together.
Daniel Sepiol raised to 250,000 from middle position with Q♠10♦ and Sean Ragozzini three-bet to 725,000 with K♦Q♦ from the hijack. James Davidson folded his 10♠10♣ on the button, and Sepiol also folded.
James Davidson raised on the button with the Q♠2♦ from the button. In the big blind, Robert Natividad had the K♥Q♣ and called.
The flop came 7♠10♦J♦. Both players checked to the river which was the 2♠ to pair Davidson who bet 340,000. Natividad raised to 1,040,000 which was called after a few moments of thought.
The river came the J♣ to pair the board with Davidson still having the best of it albeit with a fairly weak holding. Natividad led with an all in jam and Davidson could not find the call.
Natividad moved to double the second largest stack following the hand.
James Davidson raised to 325,000 with A♠10♣ from the hijack and Daniel Strelitz three-bet to 850,000 with A♥A♣ from the cutoff. When the action got back to Davidson, he made the call.
Both players saw a flop of 5♣5♥J♦ which saw Davidson check, Strelitz bet 400,000, and Davidson folded.
Sean Ragozzini shoved 1,030,000 from the small blind and was called by Jeremy Ausmus after he thought about it for a while in the big blind.
Sean Ragozzini: A♥5♠
Jeremy Ausmus: Q♦8♣
The flop came 5♣7♥Q♣ to send the Aussie close to the door as the the turn was another Q♥ to end it and the river was the 8♦ to give Ausmus a superfluous full house and Ragozzini was gone in 7th place.
Daniel Strelitz opened from under the gun six-handed to 325,000 and Richard Dixon three-bet to 610,000, leaving himself just 5,000 chips behind. When the action folded back to Strelitz, he shoved all in, and Dixon called.
Richard Dixon: K♥Q♥
Daniel Strelitz: K♣Q♦
Dixon had a tiny advantage with his suited hand but couldn't take advantage as the 3♣4♠4♣A♠7♣ runout meant both players chopped the pot.
