Just One Flop in Sight

Level 26 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Tyler Smith raised to 800,000 in the cutoff and James Park called out of the big blind. On a Q105 flop, Park checked and then folded when Smith continued for 800,000.

"I misread my cards. I would still call preflop but it was three clubs, not two spades," Park mentioned.

Jonas Kronwitter then got through with a raise to 750,000 before Anthony Marsico stole the blinds by raising to 1,000,000. Park got the blinds and big blind ante back with a cutoff raise to 800,000, too.

Hannawa Chips Back Up

Level 26 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Danny Hannawa defended the big blind against an under-the-gun raise by Tyler Smith and bet the pot on the AJ9 flop to force out Smith.

They limped the next battle of the blinds and Hannawa bet the K94 flop for 500,000, Smith snap-folded.

Hendrix Stops Lonis' Rise

Level 26 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Jesse Lonis raised to 800,000 from under the gun and Adam Hendrix called from the big blind.

The flop came 4K3 and Hendrix checked over to Lonis, who potted to 2,000,000. Hendrix tanked for a moment before calling off his last 925,000.

Adam Hendrix: QQJ9
Jesse Lonis: A1088

The board ran out 69 and Hendrix loudly clapped his hands together as his two queens stayed in front to earn him a double up.

Park Chips Up; Marsico Doubles

Level 26 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Jonas Kronwitter stole the blinds with a raise from under the gun and then lost the profit when James Park raised the pot in the cutoff for 750,000 in the last hand of the previous level. Kronwitter defended the big blind and they checked it down on the K222J board.

Kronwitter announced a flush but Park's AKQ8 represented the nut flush.

Tyler Smith then raised to 700,000 on the button in the new level and called the all-in of Anthony Marsico for just 1,375,000 in the big blind.

Anthony Marsico: Q762
Tyler Smith: AJ96

The KQJ83 board gave both players a pair and Marsico doubled.

No Walk in the Park for Hannawa

Level 25 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Anthony Marsico went through the blinds once again and his stack was reduced further. It then folded to James Park in the small blind and he inquired about the stack size of Danny Hannawa in the big blind.

Park used one time bank extension preflop before raising to 750,000, picking up a call by Hannawa. On the A104 flop, Park continued for 350,000 and that won the pot uncontested.

Jonas Kronwitter
Jonas Kronwitter

Tyler Smith raised to 600,000 from under the gun and Jonas Kronwitter repotted from one seat over. The chip leader jammed and Kronwitter called it off for the 3,700,000 he had behind.

Jonas Kronwitter: AQQ7
Tyler Smith: AKK9

"We need a queen or sevens," Kronwitter told his German rail and got one of the wish granted on the Q82AA runout, as he doubled with aces full of queens.

Lonis Ramps Up Aggression

Level 25 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Jesse Lonis has been incredibly aggressive so far on Day 3, opening most pots and taking them down with little resistance from his tablemates.

In a recent hand, he raised to 875,000 and received no callers as he showed KK. He then raised to 700,000 the next hand and again took the pot as he has added more than 4,000,000 to his stack so far today without a showdown.

Kabeelan Rajamurthy Eliminated in 11th Place ($157,963)

Level 25 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Kabeelan Rajamurthy
Kabeelan Rajamurthy

Danny Hannawa raised to 750,000 in the cutoff one hand after Kabeelan Rajamurthy had seen his stack reduced and was in the big blind. Tyler Smith reraised to 2,100,000 on the button and Rajamurthy called all-in for just shy of that out of the big blind, while Hannawa folded.

Kabeelan Rajamurthy: AAKK
Tyler Smith: Q1099

"Ace ace king king double suit? Wow what a find," Jonas Kronwitter exclaimed in table chat while Rajamurthy pointed towards Smith's cards and that a win was not guaranteed by any means.

Sure enough, Smith flopped a set on the J94 flop and took the lead. Rajamurthy needed spades, an ace or a king but found neither on the 6 turn and 8 river. Smith won the pot with a straight and Rajamurthy bowed out in 11th place.

Park Doubles Through Rajamurthy

Level 25 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
James Park
James Park

Kabeelan Rajamurthy raised to 700,000 from under the gun and James Park in the cutoff three-bet the pot to 2,475,000, which the initial raiser called.

On a flop of KJ4, Rajamurthy moved all in and Park called for the 900,000 he had behind.

James Park: AKK6
Kabeelan Rajamurthy: AQJ3

Rajamurthy was drawing thin with a gutshot and bricked the 5 turn as well as the A river for Park to double.
