Elias Harala Eliminated in 8th Place ($254,538)

Level 27 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Elias Harala
Elias Harala

Isaac Haxton got through with a pot-sized raise and Tyler Smith then raise-folded to a pot-sized three-bet of Jonas Kronwitter.

The third hand of the new level saw Jesse Lonis with a raise to 1,250,000 and Elias Harala defended the big blind with 1,800,000 behind.

They headed to the J106 flop on which the first 30-second shot clock of the Finn ran down. He was breathing heavily before announcing all in and Lonis snap called.

Elias Harala: AJ104
Jesse Lonis: AA76

Harala was ahead with the top two pair but he had to dodge plenty more outs on the 2 turn. The Q river completed the nut flush for Lonis and Harala was eliminated in 8th place for $254,538.

On the first hand of the final table, Jonas Kronwitter raised to 650,000 from under the gun and Jesse Lonis called in the cutoff. Ian Matakis then moved all in from the small blind for 975,000 and both opponents called.

Lonis and Kronwitter checked down the 89644 board. "Ace-four," Lonis said, opening up AK42. Kronwitter mucked and Matakis showed QQ1010 before making his exit as the first casualty of the final table.

Elias Harala

Elias Harala slid forward two stacks of green 25,000 chips for a raise to 1,050,000 from under the gun before small blind Ian Matakis shoved in the small blind.

Anthony Marsico was being eliminated on the other table at the same time and Harala confirmed that he had made the pay jump before calling for his last 450,000.

Elias Harala: QQ62
Ian Matakis: AQK6

"Low cards," Harala pleaded as he saw the board run out 2J844, securing his double up.

One hand after losing a pot to chip leader Tyler Smith, Jonas Kronwitter was in the big blind. He faced the open raise of table short stack Anthony Marsico from under the gun. It folded to Kronwitter and he opted to call, which led to the Q64 flop.

Kronwitter pushed all in and Marsico called for the 1,275,000 he had behind.

Anthony Marsico: QJ109
Jonas Kronwitter: AQ95

"We are ahead," Kronwitter told his rail and that remained to be the case on the 5 turn and 4 river as the unofficial final table was set.

Isaac Haxton raised to 1,050,000 from under the gun, leaving himself 100,000 behind, before Elias Harala reraised to 2,550,000 in the cutoff. Ian Matakis took his full 30 seconds in the big blind before folding, while Haxton also took 30 seconds before he threw in his last chips.

Elias Harala: K1098

"Not ideal," Haxton said upon seeing Harala's hand. The board, though, came 587910 and Haxton made a straight to double up.

Lonis Takes One, Hendrix Takes Another

Level 26 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Jesse Lonis raised to 1,050,000 from under the gun as action folded around to Adam Hendrix in the big blind.

"Iceman. I got you this far. I want us to go heads-up," Lonis told him as Hendrix took a sip of his Starbucks cup before folding.

The next hand, Hendrix limped in from the small blind and Lonis checked. The flop came KQ4 and Hendrix led out for 300,000. Lonis quickly mucked.

"Gave you a free look," Hendrix joked with Lonis.

Tyler Smith raised to 800,000 in the cutoff and Jonas Kronwitter checked his stack carefully while on the button, using one time bank extension before calling. James Park also called out of the big blind and checked the AQJ flop.

Smith bet 1,400,000 and dragged in the pot after two quick folds by his opponents.
