Kashat Sends Weis to the Rail

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Firas Kashat
Firas Kashat

Oliver Weis limped in early position which brought along a limp from a player in middle position, the cutoff, and the button. It was then on Day 1 chip leader Firas Kashat in the small blind who raised less than pot to 27,000.

The big blind folded and action was back on Weis. He didn't take long before announcing "pot". The other limpers got out of the way and Kashat four-bet to an amount that put his opponent all-in. Weis quickly called.

Oliver Weis: A697
Firas Kashat: AK66

The JJ326 board was dicey for Kashat when Weis turned the nut flush draw but the case six on the river gave him a boat and a knockout.
