After checking through the flop of 1063, Jesse Lonis and John Zable went to the turn 5. which saw a bet of 20,000 from Zable.

Lonis made the call and the duo went to the river 8 which saw a check from both players.

"I have an eight?" Zable said as he tabled AKQ8 for just a lonely pair of eights. Lonies then stared at his hand for a good while before shaking his head and acknowledged that an eight was in fact good and he tossed his hand away,

Heads-up to the K657 turn, Young Ko bet 10,000. Peter Hernandez raised to 30,000 and Ko then asked for the size of the pot, making it 106,800 to go. Hernandez moved all-in and Ko called.

The 7 river paired the board and both stacks were counted. Hernandez covered with his 199,400 and that sent Ko to the rail.

Kurtzman Shows It

Level 5 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Quan Zhou opened to 2,500 from early position and was called by David Williams on the button and Oswin Ziegelbecker in the small blind. Then Eric Kurtzman in the big blind raised it up to 12,500 and everyone called to see the flop of 7K2.

Ziegelbecker checked to Kurtzman who then continued for 40,000 and everyone tossed in their cards to award hin the pot.

"Come on, show the bluff one time," Chino Rheem said to his left, and Kurtzman flashed AK.

"That's not a bluff!" Rheem laughed as they prepared for the next hand.

Thomas Zanot raised to 3,000 and earned calls from Chris Lee as well as Bin Weng out of the blinds. The trio checked down the entire board of J63KA and Lee announced ace-eight, exposing the A8. Weng folded but Zanot had the superior hand with the A1096.
